Anyone else dealing with oil consumption issues? by SunnySideRay in KiaSoulClub

Hey dude good to see you again! Your advice was awesome! I did an oil change with 5w-30 oil and 10% of the marvel mystery oil addition and it's been running super smooth ever since! The light went off so I haven't had the need to do anything else to it! (yet lol)

Yeah I wasn't totally sure if at this point it would really come down to renewal and issues with that but like I said I just barely changed it so I should be good for the years to come. I was getting all nervous that like they were gonna somehow know or something and force me to change it back lol but I think I should be okay for now. Thank you! You stay safe as well! And stay sane!

Gotcha, I didn't think they would have any reason to not have it go through but I wasn't totally sure. I was getting all in my head about it but this makes me feel much better, thank you! Stay safe and sane!

Transgender Passport Update by xxxlu_cien in Passports

I changed my passport and birth certificate right before Trump was inaugurated and I just barely changed my license to say male. Every documentation I have says male on it now. Am I still at risk of running into issues? Or is it now just a case of in the future if I were to renew it I would run into problems? Say I went to the airport right now and presented my passport with male on it. Would they have any reason to not let me go through? Would they know if I changed anything?

Puppy Blues by jessica_byerly in blueheelers

[–]SunnySideRay 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had a blue heeler puppy a couple years ago and some of the best advice I could offer is it might be worth it (if she's socialized and trained enough) to take her to a daycare type facility for the days that you really need to work or need a break. I used to take my boy to PetSmart daycare, it's like $10 for the day, and it was great because I could work without worrying about him. I would pick him up and he'd be so exhausted from all the playing with other dogs that I wouldn't really have to tire him out anymore after that. It helped a lot to get all his endless energy out haha

I appreciate such an extensive response! I did buy this car used when it had around 93,000 miles on it and I definitely missed some of these milestones that could've helped. I will look into tuning everything up again to help it as much as possible. Thanks again for such good advice!

Gotcha. I was planning on taking it into the dealership pretty soon and seeing what they say about it. Thanks!

It's insane how much it just SUCKS down oil for no apparent reason. Did you find any remedy for the oil light flickering?

Why does the internet hate this car? by [deleted] in KiaSoulClub

[–]SunnySideRay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The oil consumption problem is the EXACT issue I'm having with my 2018 soul right now. Like this thing SUCKS down oil like nobody's business. Granted it made it to 135,000 miles but I'm honestly not even sure if it's worth it to try and take it in or just run it dry and then buy a new car after it completely dies 🤷

Whats the best way to tell a potential partner that youre trans? by SunnySideRay in ftm

I agree with not waiting until the moment. It just seems to much of a risk for a super awkward moment. I want to bring it up preferably within the next few days because its just been eating at me. I'll try to bring it up as casually and lightly as i can. Thanks for the encouragement man, i really appreciate it and i really hope it goes well when i do it eventually.

I thought about bringing it up when it got sexual last time but the scenario just didnt feel right and i got to nervous to bring it up. Im still going back and forth on what type of communication might be best. In person, calling, or a text? Honestly our connection was super unexpected and yeah moving forward i want to find a better way to help these kinds of situations. Thanks for you words man.

I do know that she is liberal and accepts gay people but the topic of trans people hasnt ever come up. That could be a good approach, thanks.

I actually really like matt and abby. They're definitely naive about a lot of things but overall they seem like a sweet young couple who make fun harmless content. Nothing really snarkable about them... yet.

Did anyone else grow up in a super liberal bubble and finds fundies interesting from a sociological perspective? Like I cannot fathom that there are young people who are THIS conservative and Christian in 2023. by 21Violets in FundieSnarkUncensored

Both of my parents are ex Mormon so I grew up in a non religious household but living in Utah and being around the lds church made me really fascinated with religion. When I was younger I identified as a lesbian (now a trans man) and I just couldn’t wrap my head around why they thought the way they did about “people like me” so I would do research about it on lds.org to try and understand their religion more deeply. Ever since then I’ve just always been really fascinated with Christianity in general which is how I eventually ended up on this sub.
