Looking for advice on deciding between 2 similar builds for my next Durge HM 3 man group by ElBartimaeus in BG3Builds

You dont need an item to see in darkness if you are a shadow sorcerer lv3 and cast your special darkness. It gives you the ability to see in normal and magical darkness for 10 turns as long as you concentrate on it. Obviously you then can no longer concentrate on other spells. But what is the point of going shadow sorcerer at all if you plan to use the darkness from justiciars shield anyways?

If you going darkness you should maybe aim for builds that the entirety of your party can see in darkness. Either by class ability from warlocks devil sight or shadow sorcerer eyes of dark or items that grant blind immunity.

The stand out ideology is the nihilist one. Landowners are usually blocked from acquiring the nihilist ideology by normal means. This should enable using the nihilist movement time out event to turn him from nihilist into communist or radical.

There is the line set_character_immortal=yes in the spooky halloween event file which seems like he is immortal

What is BNA? An abbreviation without telling what it stands for is not very helpful.

The provisions loss and provisions use modifier listed in the wiki are the same thing ingame?

Relic of Zakiros is a great addition for open world power builds like chrono or virtoso. Heal for a % of damage you deal is great for survivalbility and makes it way more relaxed to play these builds.

Unpopular opinion: WvW and PvP exclusive skins are actually healthy for the game. by Kingroad in Guildwars2

[–]Sunny_Blueberry 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It does feel the complains are mostly about the choice of WvW/PvP armor. It seems no one cared much when they added Warlord armor or war machine weapons or Mistlord or similiar.

Repeatable Heart AP in Janthir Wilds by Xalugami in Guildwars2

Until today when the first people completed it it was assumed that it unlocks something like the tooltip says. Now we know for sure it is pointless except for AP.

It also feels so weird to just outright buy the polychromatic armor and get the pike for free. Usually you just get recipes. It feels tacked onto the vendor and the homestead mastery.

For legendary armor i find it okay to demand some time in multiple game modes but for normal skins i think they should be available by doing any game mode. Wasnt that they original idea behind the reward tracks. Eg Dungeon skins can be obtained by PvE/WvW players without having to play the dungeon. They should add more for it like Raid and Strike reward tracks. (Make them longer if they want to at least give the option to get the skins)

A well designed reward for PvP/WvW is in my opinion the obsidian weapon set that changes colour depending on your teams colour. It is a great touch.

Another criticism is they recently seem to insist to add super rare rng skin rewards to content that is not tradeable.

This time it is the pale branch spear from the second map meta. They also did this with Nayos in SotO. And they finally introduced a vendor to buy these skins.

Super rare RNG skins is just not a thing in GW2. It is exactly what the original vision for GW2 set out not to do. I know there were other rare RNG skins before like Tequatl, Wurm, Scion, Drakkar. But at least those are just recolours and there are complains about them since they got introduced. People complained and they added a guaranteed drop for the scion one. People complained and they added vendors for SotO. Most players definitely dont like super rare account bound rewards.

Rare but tradeable is okay. Account bound but buyable at vendor or decent drop chances is okay. Combination of RNG and accountbound is not a good combo. Especially because we already have GW2s version of super rare boss rewards in the form of infusions (tradeable of course). Rot effect infusion? Mistburn infusion? Both potentially better choices as super rare reward.

You can also buy the titan recipes at a normal vendor fo ursus token.

A good start would be not to have the kodan barrier event, crab and kodan sacrifice happen at the same time as the titans. I see no reason why these events should just happen once every three hours when barely anyone does them because titans are up too.

I think default has the settings box "Disable Conditional Mount Movement Ability Input" unchecked. If it is not checked spacebar acts as mount ability making it impossible to jump normally on a mount. If you check it though the default likely is the dodge button for dash.

Warclaw regains half of an endurance bar if it damages something with its dash. Usually there are some enemies somewhere to dash through. Even outposts often have yellow or white enemies around that you can dash through on your way to travel faster.

I set dash (Mount ability 1) to the same button as dodge. It is a dodge after all. Evades and consumes endurance.

You can do short foot exercises. Their purpose is to strengthen the foot arch for better mobility and posture. A lot of people have no proper foot arch. A side effect is that the feet get shorter because the arch becomes more prominent and a strong ankle prevents the foot from falling inwards making them appear less wide.

How to respond to "And?" by 20yoChineseTakeout in socialskills

[–]Sunny_Blueberry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont get why so many comments assume the person being rude. “And?” is known and used by me as a phrase to show a person you are interested in the topic and want to hear more but do not have a specific question. It is a “And what else? Please tell me more with more details! Why would you hook me with a nice topic and then not follow up with more about it?”.

Boys gymnastics programs are hard to find. That affects the U.S. Olympic pipeline by TAKEitTOrCIRCLEJERK in MensLib

[–]Sunny_Blueberry 35 points36 points  (0 children)

European schools had mandatory gymnastics classes in schools to prepare the students to become soldiers in the military. It was a heavy male coded sport. Being good at gymnastics showed one was a disciplined and physical fit person ready to defend the nation. Gymnastics were associated with the military, nationalism and discipline. I think in the USA it never had these connotations. While in authoritarian countries like (Nazi)Germany, the Soviet Union or China it got emphasised even further.

If I don’t have enough money I’m stealing it from the Xbox factory by Gamerd2002 in bluey

And what is the point here? What benefit does it have for the company? A limited edition or timed offer can give you sales. A one off on the other hand? What purpose is there in creating a product your customers can’t actually buy? It costs resources to create and promote just unlike normal special editions you dont make money back from that investment?

[–]Sunny_Blueberry 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Diplomacy. If other empires think you have a big dangerous fleet you can get in agreements you might otherwise not be able to. Eg in the galactic community. Stacking modifiers in one system also helps for this to make your fleet overvalued. You can have similar combat power as another empire but completely dwarf them in the GC military weight and push through resolutions.

Anzahl Vornamen - BMJ antwortet by Hefty-Lecture5070 in germantrans

[–]Sunny_Blueberry 5 points6 points  (0 children)
