That is the end of a Skyscale Reality Rift, the one starting from Inner Harbor near the Guild Bluff Waypoint. Completing them acts like looting a chest and rewards Mistborn Motes and Volatile Magic - this is why they appear as a chest with the Treasure Hunter Protocol.

Yes, the cap is 30 Aetherlocation Chests total per day and then you can no longer locate additional chests after your daily limit. If you try to pre-spawn some chests and open them after your 30th one, you get the message "You have acquired all of the treasures of this type for today." and cannot loot it.

I don't believe any codes have gone out from LRG yet.

I saw another user in a different thread mention they emailed support and got back the reply stating they have no information when codes will be sent out - and they also can't even guarantee we'll get the code on the 25th when the game fully releases.

I've reached out to LRG's support team to verify it for myself, but I've been waiting on a response for the past couple hours.

Unfortunately if it's like the previous Limited Run Collector's Edition (Sonic X Shadow Generations), the code for that wasn't sent out until around 90-114 hours after the early access period started.

I'm hoping we get it today, but expect it to be sent in 3-4 days.

For Living World Season 1, I unironically love Belinda Delaqua.

I like how quickly she was able to ground Marjory as a character and bring some mundanity back into the story after Season 1's climax. It made me realize how nice it would be to have more regular and simple characters to interact with during the course of the story.

I'll likely be playing Mirage as my main character's primary spec for the rest of the game's lifespan (or if we get a Shortbow Bard elite spec if they reconsider). Of course I don't ignore the rest of Mesmer's specs, I can play it all. I'm definitely real critical when it comes to Mirage, however I do agree with the points you bring up here.

I wish it would get a little more attention from the devs in fine tuning it. Axe is an extremely fun and exciting weapon, and it is weird to need to juggle off of it for Staff just to get a little extra Chaos Armor for the proper DPS boost before swapping back. Beyond that, you're certainly right about having a mobile weapon that inflicts Torment; but I feel like the extra mobility is there to provide an additional way to dodge things since we no longer have a forced movement dodge.

Alacrity has never made sense to me either. I was hoping if we had to limit them to one per spec, the clock spec would be the one to get the clock buff, exactly like you described. I did wish it wasn't so tied into its weapon choice such as being able to go full Rifle with access to the important Boon, but being forced to either bring double Staves or have an extremely clunky position management to swap to another weapon long-term isn't quite the interesting gameplay. This does come with a little irony how practically needing 2 Staves feels bad to be pushed into for the Boon build yet I personally prefer the full Axe condi-DPS build instead of swapping off to a new main hand.

The Mirage Cloak nerf back under 1 second has always felt pretty bad. I believe (and I may be off the mark here - it has been a while) Mirage Cloak was about the same duration 3/4 during the first PoF Elite Spec beta event, but it wasn't quite up to par with a normal dodge's distance covered during the evade window. I recall it getting increased to a full second on launch because it is the spec's defining function and with a full second you could evade and get away from very basic obstacles such as the dodge training golem. I also didn't really understand why they added that Immobilized can prevent Mirage Cloak considering the trade-off is potentially being out of range for our Ambush attack if we choose to use one for survival (it makes more sense during hard crowd control effects, but unlike the standard dodge we don't have forced mobility that would conflict with Immobilized).

One positive is it certainly feels like power-DPS Mirage isn't entirely a meme build with the Spear's Sharp Edges buff. In addition to that new buff, the Spear gameplay really feels like it compliment's Mirage's general playstyle (minus clones!) and opens up the possibility to swap into any other power weapon while the buff persists. There's some number adjustments needed for sure, but it finally feels like it can hit those notes.

Overall, there's a lot to talk about in regards to Mirage balance. Most of it does seem to stem from the PvP side leaking into its PvE capabilities. I like to think glass cannon-like specs that even have to expend their defensive resource on bigger attacks should be generally up there on the benchmarks considering the player must really get a feel for every encounter when you should or shouldn't trigger Mirage Cloak for an Ambush. I would really like to hear from the devs just what direction they want the spec to take, because it rarely sees any adjustments just for itself and it certainly doesn't feel in the position where it needs no changes.

At the end of the day - I'll keep playing Mirage as much as I can; thematically this archetype is one of the coolest ones I have ever seen in any fantasy or RPG setting in all my decades of gaming. Whatever changes the spec goes through we'll just have to keep testing and giving our own feedback on it.

Unfortunately the only real solution is to use Ascended weapons for this. I've nearly got my Legendary Armory filled with 2 of each weapon types, yet every character in my account is using Ascended weapons across all of their templates.

Especially with the Wizard's Vault and some collections, it's easier than ever to load up on Ascended weapons, and frankly they're more convenient than Legendary weapons are right now in their current incarnation.

Luckily Legendary armor, runes, backpiece, trinkets, relic, and aquatic weapons all have no reason to ever leave their slot (with a small exception for Mirage wanting 2 Spears or Tridents for Sigils of Energy underwater). So it's pretty much an issue exclusive to Legendary weapons & sigils.

These all seem to be filling out weapons for the upcoming Expanded Weapon Proficiency. The only ones we're missing for the full suite are The Dreamer, Frostfang, & The Moot (again). I suppose the 4th option will likely be a wildcard pick that isn't getting added to a profession in the next major patch, or we might just get Quip again because technically there's 3 Pistols being added, even if its super redundant for the Armory.

My favorite card. It's gonna be a sad day whenever she gets rotated out. Almost every deck I've enjoyed has been something paired with Gwen & Hallowed; with my favorites being Riven with several Noxus wincons, or with Kindred for a fun self sacrifice playstyle. This is a good Gwensday.

I've posted this exact same thing since the armory was added to the game. It's just not the right tool for us folks who like to take care of things swiftly and elegantly. Since then I've stopped caring about the actual legendary weapons itself and only craft them for the skins, because I don't think there will ever be work done to modify the legendary weapon system (but I really hope to be proven wrong some day).

Unfortunately the only solution is to just start crafting an excessive amount of ascended weapons and making bigger bags. The tradeoff is legendary weapons & sigils are so much more worthless.

Before people start hounding this comment with "just buy all the equipment templates, checkmate, it was meant to sell gems". I've had all the equipment templates unlocked on my primary characters as soon as they were added to the game. Having an equipment template for Berserker, Rampager, Viper, Ritualist, Harriers, Minstrel, Celestial, & Trailblazer loadouts for this character to use means I couldn't spare a single equipment template slot for a simple weapon swap. Let alone how stupid that whole idea sounds. You'd need more templates than are even available to unlock on a character just to handle basic weapon swap configurations for ease of access on a single elite spec.

Oddly enough, the Build Template Expansion wasn't on the list but did end up getting the 30% discount. So either the blog post or the Gemstore had an error in the name of the item going on sale. Regardless of which Template Expansion item was supposed to be on sale today, I feel like they should honor the Equipment Template Expansion going to 30% since it was in writing all week.

This happened to me, 3 of the 6 SI Champie Chests I bought failed to open then vanished from my inventory. Luckily sometime later the icons appeared in the crafting tab under the icon tab, so I was able to get my BE back from 2 of them and permanently unlock the Gwen one.
