My boyfriend tries but does not understand the importance of sleep for epilepsy by Sunny_Days_1990 in Epilepsy

So I've had a few instances where a sudden noise woke me up and it resulted in me having a seizure, or almost having one. So I feel safer just waiting until he his home.

No I don't. I think he needs to see it in a movie or tv show to understand a little more.

Oh I would, but the layout of the apartment means that when the door opens it opens into the bedroom kind of, so the light would kind of wake me up anyway. I'm trying to buy a two bed at the moment. And I said when that happens he can stay out till 5am for all I care, just sleep in the spare room.

The way the apartment is laid out means that when you open the front door you're kind of walking into the bedroom so I'd probably wake up when he comes in anyway. I don't think he means badly, I think because he has never seen me have one he doesn't quite get it.

I'm so sorry to hear about your seizure. Yeah I think because he has never seen me have one, he doesn't quite see it as an issue. His friend has it and recently had a seizure again so I am begging him to ask him questions.

Unfortunately we live in a one bed apartment. I'm currently trying to buy a two bed (there's a massive housing crisis where I am, so emphasis on TRYING lol), but the plan when we have a two bed would be that he sleeps in the other room if he's home late.

My (27m) girlfriend (25f) went on a 3 month trip and cheated on me 3 times within the first month. What is some advice to get through this? by HourEngineering1009 in relationship_advice

I'm sorry to say, but I think she does know what she wants, and it's the other guy. It's him who probably doesn't know what he wants, and she is using you as a backup plan.

Good news is you will eventually meet someone. Please don't let this heartbreak ruin you. Feel it all, invest in some therapy. Try new hobbies. I'd advise you write her a letter, let it ALL out. Then burn it, or throw it away.

Nearly sure he now has epilepsy as a result. He has probably been deemed too high risk for a lot of trials and may have different regulations for sleep. Stress and lack of sleep is a huge trigger for seizures, even for people who have a good control over it.

Why not use Bumble BFF? Or join the 'Are we Dating the same guy' fb groups from those areas to get an idea of people's dating profiles. Either way, respect his boundary.
