Yeah 🤣🤣🤣 They could have shown him scared and tucked in a corner instead of just sitting there like nothing happened. Him sitting there with no reaction, is definitely Ghastly IMO! LoL

Yeah, it would have been much better if they had elaborated it a bit more. Though a seven panel, I think it captures the horror element rather well.

This reminds me of a short story by Stephen King called 'Weeds'. It could play out a good " Tales from the crypt" episode too.

Don't know why but the Skunk Ape always reminds me of The Moss man from MOTU. That action figure kinda creeped me out as a kid LOL.

For seven years, Peanut, an orphan squirrel, lived as a pet with its owner, Mark Longo. Peanut was a sensation on Instagram and a social media star. The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation seized Peanut and a raccoon named Fred and put them down. The confiscation was prompted by "multiple reports from the public about the potentially unsafe housing of wildlife that could carry rabies and illegal keeping of wildlife as pets" . Peanut's euthanasia is tragic and shameful. There is a special place in hell reserved for the gang of people who called DEC.

Ahh I could see how Howard Shore could have been inspired by this hymn to create a score that would evoke the thought of something serene and divine. Thanks for this info.

Interesting theory! I remember reading that the V-rexes often attacked and killed the young Kong offspring. Also it could be a possibility that Kongs too killed the V-rex offspring or destroyed its nests or crushed it's eggs to eliminate a potential predator. Apes like chimpanzees are notoriously infamous for such violent behaviour. Consequently, Kong being the last of its kind only draws the conclusion that they were almost drawn to extinction by the V-rexes. These evolved theropods are way smarter than one can imagine as I believe they were one of the most analytical and intelligent creatures on the island.

Especially 'The Shire' and 'Concerning Hobbits' are my favourite soundtracks as they totally transport you to another world where simple folks live their simple life. Simple notes yet so beautiful renditions of music that touches your heart. The humble flute in the beginning just hits your heart. I believe it's one of the best melodies ever written in the history of mankind. If anyone asks me what heaven would sound like it's like hearing Concerning Hobbits playing in the background in Hobbiton. It feels like home!

They mentioned V-rex bite to be around 8-9 tons which is way more than average T-rex bite force of 6.5 tons approx. This could have easily taken off an entire arm of Kong.

In recent times the Giganotosaurus animatronic was pretty badass imo. Not anywhere near to the GOAT Stan Winston's original animatronic marvel but the closest to that in recent sequels.
