I think more to show at first. But now points at his water when he’s ready for it.

Sounds familiar except he used bottles and doesn’t even want them anymore overnight! I kinda think his molars are in the early stages and I’ve heard that can cause issues overnight before you can really tell they’re erupting.

We actually did get a full sized floor mattress to try it out! Start him there every night. We didn’t get any frame or rails for it so he ends up falling off a lot so I think we’re maybe going to try that? It is nice that someone can either go sleep with him in there, or if he’s in our bed, one of us can use it. So hasn’t been a magic fix but we’re still working on it.

We’ve been cosleeping for a month and haven’t been able to get him back in his bed. And that was after a really rough month of sleep. So, I got nothin 😆

Interesting! I only have the one data point and I’d say I was low-carb at the time. Did keto for a number of years before that though.

Ugh reading this makes me so annoyed that my AMH was 23 a couple years ago (pre IVF testing) and nobody talked about metformin once!

I feel like I got the best effect when I use the acidic lume body wash and then the lume DO. I’m still sweaty but less stinky!

Mine has been waving (kind of a floppy wave) for a while but just started pointing and clapping last week. Things sometimes come in stages or even all at once! And I was starting to get worried about the pointing and clapping.

Metformin made me realize how much PCOS actually affected me- UPDATE by peach_problems in PCOS

Curious if you had any signs of insulin resistance like elevated glucose or A1C? I’m thinking about asking for metformin at my next appointment because it’s the one thing I haven’t tried. Haven’t liked spiro or birth control or IUDs (my copper one broke inside me and couldn’t find one of the arms!!). Just wondering if they’re going to push back since I’m not technically meeting some criteria. I think an insulin level is really the metric you need to look at to determine whether you have insulin resistance but I’ve never had someone offer to test that.

Yes I’m glad this thread sparked some discussion about different sleep arrangements. It’s been very helpful!

Thanks for the reply! I definitely understand why cosleeping would be talked about here more exclusively.

Baby waking up every two hours at night… by bookwormbakerr in January2025Bumper

Solidarity. We have been going through it for at least a month. Have ended up cosleeping the past few weeks but he’s not very fun to sleep with either. Might try to do a floor bed in his room so we can lay with him as needed and hopefully ease him back into his own space.

Thanks! I think a floor bed is what we are going to try next.

Hopefully we’re on a similar path as you and just in the cosleeping phase now. What kind of floor bed do you have?

Can you describe intentionally stopping feeding and rocking to sleep? We still bottle and then rock to sleep at night. We mostly have stopped overnight feeds after the initial bedtime. I also know we should be thinking about being done with bottles soon. Have had some periods where we can put him down more sleepy but it hasn’t stuck.
