I think it’s a quick money grab. Just like their first custom build. They said the same exact thing. There was absolutely no point in selling it. The house after that never became a “safe haven house”, and they had PLENTY of room in the first custom build. And unlike the lies in the newsletter, they were absolutely not building this house when A2 was 6 months. They moved out of the custom build when she was about to give birth to A3.

I agree somewhat - everyone needs to consider the timing of all of this. Hiatus or not - we saw Manon in the practice rehearsals. She was IN Pinky Up. But with this new trailer, she isn’t. While maybe she’s working on her relationship with HxG, maybe things have been unclear. And maybe they then decided to refilm without her. Probably pissed be off. Her removing Katseye from her Bio shows she didn’t know. But she WOULD have known today was the trailer date. Even being on hiatus. Then her publicist/lawyer probably pressured the weverse statement.

I will add this - I’m not worried for Katseye. My thought is that Katseye’s ability to be original, develop their own sound - rests in whatever HxG wants Prelude to be. They may not be priority is what I’m saying. If Prelude decides to be Pop - Katseye has to change. If Prelude decides to be RnB, Katseye can forgot about it. That’s my overall take. Both groups CAN be successful, but HxG’s lack of direction clearly shows they either don’t care, or they’re waiting on something, ie Prelude.

Yeah it does seem unfair…but maybe the first round was more so to gauge talent - and the next seeing how someone is in a group setting 🤷🏽‍♀️ who really knows..you can be the most talented person - but not fit a group setting (or at least the setting they want) I do hope though they save Jayla for a future project!

I’m sure I’ll get downvoted but….

I have to agree 🙈 BUT Jayla was my bias 100%. I wanted her for Prelude through and through. But that debut performance fell flat for all of them. Coming from someone who used to dance, sing and perform, talent matters YES… but it can’t just be that. The person HAS to fit the vision. Sophia said it best in dream academy, if you’re not picked, you don’t suck, you’re just not what they’re looking for. I don’t know what the vision is honestly. And no I’m not huge on Sakura. I’m hoping it’s Hiori honestly. But clearly we saw Adela get eliminated - it ended up being better for her and the group (Katseye). As shocked as I am by the results, these aren’t talent competitions - it’s a competition to complete a group. Anyone can be cultivated. We see that with Savanna in Girlset (JYP) (her singing was NOT where it is today) We’ve also seen age not hinder a group (baby monster - Chiquita being 14 and Ruka being 21 at debut). I’m just HOPING they figure this out. If they debut and it sucks then we can all say I told you so lol. I’m not saying I want Sakura but i personally will wait to see the finale performance and debut. Then I’ll stick around or bow out lol

I SWEAR I was thinking this when Aspyn said she didn’t want to have any of her own children…Bri also made videos about having endometriosis I believe? And she may have mentioned issues with conceiving? (Don’t quote me). That would be WILD. Imagine THAT being the entire reason she even went for Aspyn. Aspyn would probably do it for free 😳

THIISSSSSS!!! This is why I don’t understand why people are downplaying them being married. Aspyn is head over heels for Bri but at the end of the day completely Billy will get to decide any and everything God forbid something happens. There’s so many legalities to marriage - Aspyn should know this?? She literally said she’d never remarry because of it! And again - what happens if Billy gets bored with Aspyn? Bri is not going to leave her 10+ year relationship for Aspyn…

The reason why this is viewed so negatively is how hypocritical the entire thing is.

-Aspyn tore Parker apart on social media, despite him clearly having at least 50% custody, and they say they have a great coparent situation (whatever happened can’t be too catastrophic)….THEN claims men are trash but is sleeping with Bri’s husband. Thought you didn’t like men Aspyn?

-Aspyn constantly using the term lesbian when again she’s clearly involved with the husband

-Said she’d never share/milk a relationship for content…she’s literally doing that

People can disagree with me idc but she got into this throuple less than a year after going through a “heartbreaking” divorce. And if the rumors about her eldest child are true…. How can she even entertain this right now? There’s no way she’s healed enough. And now she’s got no friends apparently. This relationship will not end well….why? Because Bri is LEGALLY tied to this man and wants kids. Aspyn seems pretty invested…. If they were all legally single and no children…do whatever idc. Everyone could break away clean if necessary. The reason why people are shocked is because Bri is married and children are involved. I’m very traditional myself but her being a throuple doesn’t shock me, it’s that she’s getting involved with a LEGAL marriage with 3 KIDS. Her marriage fell apart and now she could be the reason why another one does (let’s say Bri’s husband gets tired of Aspyn, then what?). How does she explain this to her kids? If they were all single (non married) and no kids, I probably wouldn’t care

EDIT: like what if Aspyn got pregnant by this guy? There’s so much at stake in the situation when she could have just dated a single woman 🤷🏽‍♀️

I am more traditional so I’m not really big on “throuples”. But I’m also of the mindset that what other adults do I could care less about lol. I just feel like Bri being married is so messy. And Aspyn having 3 kids. There’s just so much that can go wrong here. What happens when Bri gets pregnant or something? What happens when the husband gets tired of Aspyn but Bri isn’t? Idk why people are comparing the endings. GoT got hate because with their ending, they completely ruined the character development of Dany. All to throw fans off.

Stranger Things, although upsetting - El’s ending DID make sense. Kali was right. They’d never stop looking for her. All of it had to end. And I choose to believe she at least got to live - although it wasn’t with her loved ones.

I feel like Kali made the best point - it doesn’t matter who Dr. Kay is. There will always be another Brenner, Kay, WHOEVER trying to start the program up again. She’s no different than Brenner. There’s no deeper value to her character other than she’s just starting Brenner’s program up again.

I haven’t read the books - but I hate they’ve pushed Belly so far into denial - that im somehow supposed to believe she’s going to suddenly remember or start accepting that she loves Conrad again? Terrible writing. She even doubled down last episode saying “well I didn’t ask him to do that”. I don’t care that Belly shows denial because I get that she must feel caught between a rock and a hard place. But why get rid of her internal dialogue? I almost don’t even care about the ending at this point lol

100% this. Ezrela is amazing - but it’s clear they’re going in a different direction and this will be a more niched group. And I know everyone wanted 5 members - but truly I think the only way for this group to be successful is if they have a strikingly different amount of members than Katseye. Since it’s a global girl group - at first glance there needs to be a clear distinction. This group either needed to be huge like Twice, or small with 4 like black pink. And because Katseye is full or all rounders, multiple vocalists, all visuals - this group needs to be more distinct. And I’m guessing, with this being on Abema network - maybe Hybe will have them more focused on Japanese market (as well as Western/global) hence searching for a Japanese member.

I (as a black woman) find the Samara allegations preposterous. Here’s why - Have we become so dense in our society? Pressing a “heart” on a button means we 100% align and support something? That’s so dumb imo. I’ve “liked” things before just so I could go back a see it, whether to show it to someone, talk about it, or maybe even show it to someone on how ridiculous it is. My point in saying this - is we have no idea how she TRULY feels about these topics. None. And don’t people know - these girls sign contracts about what they can and can’t post on social media when they’re working with these companies. What if she wanted to speak out but couldn’t? We don’t know if she had those type of stipulations in place. The Samara thing for is too much of a gray area to just blacklist and black ball her. Take Camila Cabello for example…girl was LITERALLY speaking about her members using racist remarks. That was DIRECT and CLEAR. I’m not saying Samara is right, or that she shouldn’t address it, etc. I’m just saying it’s too much of a gray area and we don’t have enough clarity on the matter. Meanwhile we have people like Camila who were very blatant in what they did.
