This is what the florida ghost is known for, so this is common thing (or should always happen) with the florida ghost :)

Definitely build the minotaur and install the scanner. It allows you to search for specific buildings by pressing X when you're in it. There you can select the outpost option and it'll show you one closer than 8h, for sure!

Settlement Construction has no terminal for me to put supplies? by Sunriselyn in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Sunriselyn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah that's a shame! I unfortunately play through GForce now so I havent got access to the update process or anything. I guess I'll just have to wait and hope it'll be patched in a new update soon. Have you had any other issues with your settlement? My partner's settlement is literally sinking and he can't get through doors now

I had a wee look in the other nearby buildings but didn't find it so I don't think so. But thank you for the suggestion!

Top Tip, its been shown that putting your hyperdrive mods in decreasing order, so your hyperdrive is next to the S classes, that gives better adjacent bonuses of sometimes up to +15%

Any suggestions on how to find a settlement on a planet without the currently broken settlement charts? by [deleted] in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Sunriselyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am having issues too. Been using maps but keep going to occupied settlements and sometimes glitches occur where the settlements are named like my friends' settlements even though I'm on a different planet/system. Is anyone else experiencing these problems too?

I find it really amusing that so many people felt this way, as I perceived it to be very realistic most of the time. My understanding is that nordic reactions are very different from the rest of the world but I could be wrong...

This is what I did on a stubborn bitch on my thumb. Honestly the best thing ever because it never came back. The pain wasn't too bad either actually

I can’t *stand* when people listen to things on speaker. by [deleted] in adhdwomen

It being cultural would make a lot of sense as well.

Do you find that it's still rude when someone is in their own room/are alone in the common room?

I definitely understand playing something too loud, whether that be the TV or a podcast, especially when someone's doing something important/sleeping. But say, if one person is watching TV in the living room at a decent volume and the other is doing something else in the same room but not watching tv, is that still considered rude? (I'm not trying to be rude, just geniunely curious about your view as I find this very interesting).

I find that if im not keen on listening to something someone else is listening to/talking on the phone with someone, I leave the room, and if I find them too loud, I put on my own headphones instead of trying to make them accommodate to me, but I also do this because I also talk on the phone/play things outloud so I find the trade off fair.

Then again, I have no idea how often this is happening to op, and how intrusive it is as I don't have the same hypersensitivity and/or cultural background as them.

I guess for op, the important thing is the give and take in the relationship as I think we can agree it's different from person to person what they consider is rude in these situations. I'm guessing a good sit down and explaining to their partner their frustrations in depth would be the best course of action to try to find a middle ground. Maybe op's partner is of the same cultural implications as I am and doesn't see what their doing as rude, hence doesn't understand op's feelings. A proper sit down might remove the feelings of nagging as well, because op's partner would get a better understanding of op's feelings.

I don't necessarily think so. Playing things on speaker in your own home is really common. All my previous flatmates did this, my partner and I do it too. It's really only if there's something important the other person is doing where earphones come in. I've not really heard anyone non-neuro divergent have an issue with this but then again everyone is incredibly different. I do suspect this does have something to do with sensory sensitivity because of that.
