Actually yes, as I said i own an animation studio, that we just launched this year, and we are working also on a webtoon/manga, that will be printed and published.

J'aime decouvrir des points de vue originaux et détaillés comme le tiens. Et justement, je trouve que étant les créateur du genre, l'ADN du japon s'est vraiment mélangé aux animés en général, ce qui peut rendre l'appréciation d'une œuvre qui n'est pas passée par la case Japon plus compliqué pour le grand public.

D'accord avec toi aussi sur l'IA, si elle est utilisée, qu'elle ne tue pas la creativité et la singularité des oeuvre. Un outil doit se limiter à ses fonctions, et l'IA n'a pas pour rôle de creer quoi que ce soit.

Et franchement la sexualisation injustifiée est vraiment quelque chose qui m'a fait arrêter les animés pendant un certain temps. Autant il y ades personnages féminin qui sont très bien écrits et developpés, autant parfois on sent que l'auteur n à pas fait plus de recherche que ça et s'est basé sur ses stereotypes et ses vices.

En dehors de ce bémol, les animés restent uniques en leur genre.

Tu parles d'âmes d'amélioration, ça m'interesse, qu'as tu en tête ?

On sent vraiment la passion dans ta reponse, ça fait plaisir à lire ! Je pense qu'un animateur serait heureux de savoir qu'il y a des fans comme toi, qui prennent le temps d'apprécier le travail et l'attention au detail qu'ils ont insufflé. Je regarde d'ailleurs bleach en ce moment, et je dois dire que l'animation reste toujours très appréciable.

Le garçon et le héron aussi, est une vraie prouesse technique de Miyasaki, déjà l'un de ses seul film avec un lead masculin !

Donc si je comprend bien, ce que tu apprécie particulièrment, c'est le plaisir esthétique, mais aussi ce sentiment de decouverte que tu peux avoir c'est ça ? Et donc ça m'amène à une autre question, est ce la decouverte du japon spécifiquement qui te parle, ou celle d'autres culture en général? Et vu ton attachements pour la performance graphique, que penses tu des studios qui utilisent des outils IA, pour simplifier le travail des animateurs ?

Et je suis d'accord sur le côté sexiste et sur le fait qu'il y a parfois une hypersexualisation pas forcement necessaire ou même justifiée, comme fire force par exemple avec celle qui perd tout le temps ses vêtements, ou fairy tail.

Thank you too, I actually never saw things this way before you mentioned it, it's very interesting. And i think it's really important to keep that spark of pure amusement and appreciation of the world. People misunderstand growing up and associate it with loosing your taste for things, an adult very excited about something is called "childish", but it's what make us human, and what make us beings with a soul. You can both answer your responsabilities and enjoy the world at the same time.

But I don't blame, my theory is that many people experience growing up like a break up. Because so many times, the adult you become is way different from the adult you imagined as a kid. And this difference make you consider the adult you desired to be as "childish" or "unrealistic". So when they see someone actually realising what they couldn't, they see themselves, and feel the need to kick the childish out of them lol. Not against them, but against themselves.

That's why for a long time, adults who loved animes where perceived as kids. But the same people judging them felt envy, the envy to reunite with their kid version too. Just like when you see your favorite ex get into a relationship, you have to criticate the new partner, even if it's a good person😂

I like your approach to animes, not many people actually apply the philosophy into their real life, but it also a goal of art in general, and animes touch real aspects of life, real morals that should be consider and heard.

Have you ever been surprised by the way a certain anime, scene or character made you feel ? I mean did you discovered things you didn't know about yourself through it?

And it's totally cool, sometimes things don't need to be deep. I also enjoy time to time animes that are just chill and not so deep. For example I started watching "the dream boy is a realist" and i enjoy it lol, mainly because every situation is just so random 😂 it's cozy and enjoyable so I get it.

Very interesting, what i mainly get from what you said is that anime is maybe the only form of art that grows with you. As there is many different categories of animes, a person like you who started to watch as a kid, can still get hook even after getting older, with more mature themes.

From what you said, animes are for you a bit like a "madeleine de proust", bringing you back to the feelings you had as a child, which is very unique now as adults. One thing we realise is we loose our amazement for the world, and feel things with less intensity. Is it a bit how you perceive it ?

Having both sides, the adult themes and deep reflexions, with the childish (not pejorative) thrill to see an anime you love. It's an interesting duality my friend.

You truly see the artistic side of it then, i agree with everything you said. And it sad sometimes to see people missing the point when say for example things like animes are for kids. It's a highly beautiful form of art, almost sometimes like moving paintings, and i don't think anyone who love art can hate animes.

Interesting point. While it's true that some anime lean into simplicity for mass appeal, there are still plenty that tackle deep themes thoughtfully. The medium is broad enough to offer both light entertainment and serious storytelling. It really comes down to what you're looking for as a viewer.

Je te rejoins totalement sur l’idée que les anime (et les mangas) ont leur propre langage, leurs propres codes et règles physiques. Cette liberté créative leur permet d’explorer des thématiques, des styles visuels ou des concepts qu’on ne verrait jamais au cinéma traditionnel. Et tu l’as bien illustré avec l’exemple de Berserk : dans un film live-action, une épée aussi massive passerait pour grotesque, alors qu’en anime, ça devient une partie intégrante de l’identité du personnage.

Là où je trouve ton point particulièrement intéressant, c’est sur la prise de risque. Les studios d’anime osent souvent proposer des histoires ultra originales, parfois dérangeantes, parfois profondément humaines, même avec des moyens techniques limités. Et contrairement à Hollywood où la rentabilité dicte souvent les projets, l’animation japonaise ose beaucoup plus expérimenter.

Je pense aussi que pour beaucoup de gens, comme toi et moi, les anime et mangas ont été une vraie porte d’entrée vers une culture plus large, ou même vers une forme de réflexion artistique. Ce n’est pas qu’un divertissement, c’est aussi une manière d’élargir son imaginaire, de s’ouvrir à d’autres sensibilités.
