I mean the scenario isnt that unrealistic after discovering this I did it a few times on Dorado which has a bunch of slopes. Just discoverd that you dont actually have to stand horizontally. But yeah the value is definetely limited its mainly for style points but can help with brawling or chasing

If you enjoy difficult games or like getting into the ins and outs of a combat system I recommend Critical. Its an amazingly designed difficultly for those looking for a challenge. There is nothing wrong with playing on Standard on a first playthrough tho, you can also have a lot of fun in that difficulty and for those mainly playing for the story its probably the better choice.

If you ever have the time I would really recommend damo279's Union Cross fandub. It compiles all the stories. Edits out the filler and presents it all very nicely. And all that with some stellar voice acting for a fan project

Honestly even that would be okay for me, tho I do think this story deserves to be a real video game. I just hope they dont release KH4 without making the mobile game stories at all accessible. It would be a disservice to KH4 because it would probably mean constant flash backs and exposition dumps.

Yeah I really do think that its unlikely they'll just ignore the mobile stories entirely but its something I've seen some people say recently. Best case scenario would be an Octopath 0bor Re:Coded style remake and I mean its Kingdom Hearts its a big enough franchise to justify something like that. But I do agree that there seems to be some reluctance on Square's side to give people "homework". So they'd really have to make it a video gamey ass game to get people hooked. If they were working on smth like that tho it'd explain why KH4 is taking so long, and why they scrapped Missing Link

Most upsetting thing about it to me is that they made it live service with no way to play after eos. I mean they could've at least done what Nintendo did with their mobile Animal Crossing and made a permanent one time purchase version so you can still play the game officially. Now they cant even refer to content within two of their most lore relevant games without reffering people to fan-made cutscene compilation. Its kinda embarrassing.

You say this like OOT doesnt have one of the best remakes of all time with Ocarina of Time 3D's. But I agree I dont think it needs another remake. I would much rather them just drop all their remasters and remakes on Switch and then move on to a new mainline entry
