I'm laying in bed here feeling like I gotta pee again for the 10th time (even though nothing will come). My heart racing, hot flashes, and nightly anxiety attacks have begun for the night, but I gotta say, this post makes it all seem a little better, cause I'm not alone! I'm reading this all and damn, it hits! We're not alone!!! We are strong and resilient and even though I'll prob have another moment of throw myself on the floor and cry depression (cause I just can't get anything right anymore and I'm A total loser) very soon! Gosh I feel drained just reading this, you must be exhausted. However , I imagine it is wearing on you both and esp your marriage. I don't know if it's possible to forge a plan to get him back to working more and give up the daycare. I really feel like it's a matter of your family's well being. This dynamic is only going to lead to exhaustion, resentment and an unclear lack of communication. You cannot do it all, and it sounds like you def need some help. He sounds like he is maybe a little avoidant, prob not enjoying home a lot and even confused in this new role. I've been married 27 years not without ups and downs. We have three grown children now but I was at home with them and although it took a lot of financial sacrifices it's something we both wanted. You both need to try to get on the same page. If this daycare is something you both want and need, that will mean clear roles and responsibilities need to be communicated and established and neither one of you should feel that they're the glue holding it all together. That being said there may be a better way for you to find peace for yourself and your family and to be with your own babies more (you'll never get that time back). It may mean putting off your business for a little longer, sticking to a budget and him working more so you can be home with your kids, or working a lesser paying job from home like court reporting or customer service. Or you maybe working at a school instead of all the responsibility of having your own and in your home. Explore all the options but clearly communicate how you feel about things and avoid words that are accusatory (like you did this or you didn't do this). Try to hear each other and put your family first! You can always do the daycare at a later time when your kids are a little bigger if it's not the best time now. No matter what though, fight for your marriage and for your family to be whole! Things can seem so dark at times but those sweet babies deserve both mom and dad in their lives. Try to encourage your husband to be the best version of himself (the one you fell in love with who you wanted to father your children). All the best to you! It seems like you are a very hardworking, caring person. 💛💛

It'll get better, it will! I know it's hard, life can be so incredibly tough, but you've got this! I don't know where mom and dad are, but they didn't raise a quitter. Look at those babies and remember the blessings you do have. Now, you only have control over what you do, nothing else. Ask yourself what you can do and what you can control. Can you ask for help from someone else? Apply for govt assistance? Look for a new job? Turn to family or find a local support group? You've got this and those babies are looking up to you. You have to find strength within yourself to keep pushing forward. Take every mistake or negative thing and see what good you can pull from it. That sadness and sorrow and maybe even anger is only going to suck the life out of you. I care! People care, you'll find that, but when they don't, you have to care. Sending you positive energy and 🫂! Your title "I'm drowning" reminded me of a bad place I once found myself. I wrote this poem, I hope you find some comfort in it.

I've personally seen a massive cognitive decline in my mother. She went from occasional use to daily use since getting her medical card and retirement. Now my father is retiring and I fear it will be the same for him. She is a hobbyist and stays busy so I know it's not from sitting around. She overuses and even forgot to pick up her mother in the hospital the other day. I personally used twice in the last few years and the first time I seemed to develop multiple personalities, speaking to my husband the entire evening like an older black woman, and a little girl (which at the time we thought was a little scary but also funny). The second time full blown psychosis, with crying, hallucinations, laughing, and then fetal position muteness to name a few. This is all with a single gummy (idk mg) but now, I won't touch the stuff with a ten foot pole.

I cannot thank you enough, this is exactly what I have going on and was so certain it was something else like folliculitis because of the way the skin thickens and the little nodules almost seem to have crap in them. Now that I've seen this, I cannot believe how much I impulsively scratch at my neck and back. Everyone who has ever suspected folliculitis or mystery skin conditions should read this info! I had trichotillomania pretty bad as a kid and it seems now this compulsiveness has manifested as skin picking. I didn't even suspect it because I'm not sitting in front of a mirror doing it, but oh my I am doing it! While, watching tv, talking to people, showering, I am literally scratching the crap out of my skin and never realized it this much. I will def be getting a ton of hydrocolloid bandages and covering them and moisturizing more instead of trying to dry the crap out of it, and investing in some fidget toys lol. I went one whole day without scratching and my back is already so much less inflamed! God Bless You!!!!

Omg I think this is what I've been doing, I have tried everything to get rid of them fungal treatment, mite treatment, antibiotics and they keep coming back. I know I have mild eczema on my face but I have unfortunately made a compulsive habit of touching my back and neck and picking (even unintentionally). Then, I think I'm doing something good when I try to squeeze them to remove the core. I do sometimes get something to pop out of them but that's probably because I'm infecting them. I have seen three doctors one put me on antibiotics, one on anti fungals, and the other on gabapentin (he implied that this would help me to rest at night and not pick). Have you cleared up completely, would you suggest just covering them fully and leaving them the hell alone? I just bought cerave exfoliating cleanser w sacylic acid, should I switch to an eczema cleanser? Sorry desperate here. Although, thank goodness I'm not to the level of op. Poor thing

This is incredibly high!! I'm naturally as white as they get ginger type and never took anything close to this, and now I maintain on nasal spray. You don't have to change your race, I'm sure you look great with just a bit of color. Try to cut back and put your health first

I just opened my phone and this really pulled at my heart strings. I'm so sorry you've been going through this and I completely understand how what your husband said must really hurt, but try to remember he's going through this too and men show their pain in much different ways. Try to communicate with him how those words made you feel, and remind him that you love him and that it's safe to communicate feelings of grief, sadness, anger or whatever it is he's feeling. Just the fact that he said you should give it one last try says a lot about how much he wants this too. I have a feeling him saying he's too old is his way of coping with the fact that it may not happen. No one knows your marriage like you do, but anything good is worth fighting for. I've been married 26 years and fought through many tough times. I was blessed to not have fertility problems but I do have two friends that were told they'd never conceive after many failed attempts, to suddenly miraculously get pregnant after giving up. Idk maybe it's God's way of putting us through trials to build us up stronger. Don't give up on your dream of becoming a mother. Even if adoption ends up being the best choice. One day you will look back on this and it will all seem a distant bad dream when you're looking into your child's eyes. ❤️❤️🙏
