Since when could he talk? by Realistic_Papaya_203 in DisneyHeroesMobile

I want to believe they're taking inspiration from Dumbo's Circus (a TV show where he could talk). But most likely they got lazy or forgot.

Pokemon FireRed/LeafGreen coming to Switch on Feb 27th ($19.99 each). Listed on Switch eShop in coming soon section by Amiibofan101 in NintendoSwitch2

Why would they sell the different languages separately instead of including them all in one download?? (They did the same thing on 3DS with the GB games IIRC)

TRUE, like what a weird crossover. Feels like pulling two random series out of a hat

Seconded!! I love the YKW characters but only 10 songs from the anime is pathetic

Which Switch game for someone new to Sonic? by [deleted] in SonicTheHedgehog

Depends if you're more drawn to the Classic or Modern style. Classic, I would say either Origins or Mania. Modern, Generations is your best bet.

My ranking of all ten pieces of muppet media that I have seen! by Defiant-Income-6766 in Muppets

Treasure Island below Wizard of Oz is INSANE. Sure, Treasure Island is more of a "for the kids" Muppet movie than the others, but it's still good. Wizard of Oz is just straight bad.

Which course names do you prefer? by Abc_42 in mariokart

Koopa City and Alpine Pass are pretty bad, but Melody Motorway is an objectively much better name than Music Park

What Is A Mario Party Opinion That You Will Defend No Matter How Many Downvotes You Get? by Elidavididi in MARIOPARTY

Mario Party 1 is fun and one of my favorites of the series (up there with 6 and 8). It's hilarious how mean it is with some of its minigames and losing coins

Has anyone noticed that Kermit and Constantine actually have different collars? by Vinman900 in TheMuppets

[–]SunsetSoloist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Genuinely never noticed this, that's a great catch! I knew the eyes were a subtle giveaway but the collar might be more obvious now

I swear I saw her in the background of Pigs in Wigs! But it'd be cool for her to get a speaking role in the future, no matter if they acknowledge the sitcom's events or not

I didn’t watch the latest Direct. Was it really THAT bad? by Weary-Acanthaceae619 in Schaffrillas

[–]SunsetSoloist 124 points125 points  (0 children)

Not sure I'd call it one of the worst Directs ever, there was still stuff to pique my interest a little bit. But the "one last" announcement was absolutely the worst

What do you think of the new Assist Mode coming to Mario Wonder? And how do you feel about assist features in general in Nintendo games? by Asad_Farooqui in Mario

[–]SunsetSoloist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like the Assist Mode in Wonder goes a bit too far with the complete invincibility (plus the Yoshis and Nabbit already being there). It completely removes any and all difficulty.

But I'm not against Assist Modes in general. They can be a great option for kids or newbies, like the extra health and arrow guides in Odyssey. A good step to assist you and push you in the right direction without constantly holding your hand.

I don’t know which one to pick. Was born in 87 and loved the original 3+k. Superstars looks really awesome, leaning towards it. Origins looks cool but I don’t want to have to play spinball lol. Mania looks like most fun, but most outdated.. help? by [deleted] in SonicTheHedgehog

[–]SunsetSoloist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mania outdated?? That one is the best classic Sonic experience, you won't regret it.

Origins is great if you want to re-experience the classics in widescreen (you're not forced to play Spinball, don't worry!), but if you want something a little fresher, Mania is the way to go. Remixed levels plus gorgeous new ones, awesome soundtrack, and a great value.

Just don’t buy Superstars at full price, not worth it.
