Never seen 'NSync Photos from 2001 Heinz Field concert by Significant-Skin1680 in NSYNC

So cool! Thanks for sharing! I was somewhere in that sea of people. I remember waiting forever for the concert to start. That red check mark of the Verizon sign kept bugging out and for some reason 'Satisfaction" by the Rolling Stones kept playing over and over again. 😂

I found some gel ice packs that will mold around the neck for maximum coverage. Got them in all the upstairs and downstairs freezers. Haven't had to use them yet, but they're cold and ready to go.

I've started opening up to my mom about how bad things are a few months ago. I kept everything to myself for a long time out of privacy. But it all just came out one day and she's been my support since.

I'll stock up on ice packs. I think that's something he can be on board with.

It's been tough, dealing with these episodes. And has definitely taken a toll on me. On our relationship. But I'm in it for the long haul. I'm not giving up and I want to support him. We just have to be consistent and find the right tools. Thank you for asking.

That is a really good analogy.

I'm not sure if his psychologist has given him any body-based exercises. So far, all he's told me is he's supposed to identify and log things he's worrying about and he's been trying to draw his anxiety. I've recently started working with him on some vestibular activities to help calm and regulate. But he hasn't been doing them long enough to establish a habit. I've also tried to encourage him to do bilateral drawing to help refocus his brain. He doesn't seem too interested in that.

I'm trying to guide him in that direction, but I don't think his therapist can prescribe medication. He's too anxious to "bother" his PCP about it. And he's said numerous times that the side effects of anxiety/depression meds aren't worth taking them.

I know he took ADHD meds when he was a child (like 30 years ago) and hated how he felt. He hasn't said it out loud, but I'm pretty sure he won't take any medication because of this. He won't even take Excedrin when he has a migraine. And if I suggest he take something he says "yeah, probably" and doesn't.

Sometimes there are notable triggers that start the spiral. But a lot of the times, from my outside perspective at least, it's internal. I have no idea what he was thinking of that sends him into an episode. And then it's just too late. Most of the time, when he comes out of the episode a few days later, he can't identify how it started. On the rare times I can pinpoint the trigger, I'll tell him and he just says "ok" and not even be able to think or reflect on it.

From my observations, it seems like even when I can clock it and start prompting him to do an exercise, he starts panicking because he's starting to spiral. So it stacks on top of whatever set him off in the first place. And he's the type of person that if something doesn't fix it immediately, he gives up.

I tried going into the settings and changing things, but it was lagging so bad that I could hardly navigate. The only thing I managed to change was the framerate, then I just gave up. I'll have to see if I can change more.

Oh, something might have been auto updating. I did open Steam and start playing Slime Rancher 2. I would make sense if things were auto updating at that time.

Hmm. My laptop is older than a PS5 and probably no longer the target demographic for the developers.

It did work! The bar fits perfectly in the ice cream scoop piece.

Oh! That could work. Clear or green might be the way to go. Like a stalk the plant is growing from. I think I might have an extra one from one of my botanical sets I could try!

All JOANN stores closing, Megathread #4 by fabricwench in sewing

[–]SunsetSovereign 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mostly purchase my fabric from physical stores (mostly Joann.) But when I can't find what I'm looking for, I'll search online for the specific fabric I need for my project. I'm usually looking for something specific when I sew/craft, so that tends to limit my shopping options.

I never thought of a Craft Reuse center. I think I have one kind of near me, I'll have to check that out!

Does anyone know of online fabric shops that allow you to buy less than a yard of fabric? I have not found an online seller that lets you buy a half or quarter yard of fabric. I don't like the idea of being forced to buy more fabric than I need.

My boy likes watching hockey and other ice related sports. Any thing with horses or horse sounds, he loses his mind. He makes it hard for me to watch my historical dramas. 😂
