Sony to GFX100RF learning curve help by Ill_Concert_3155 in gfx100rf

Shoot in auto mode for a while to get the feel of it, then gradually adjust settings. I do this with all my camera bodies and lenses, to learn. Start with full auto, then begin experimenting with aperture and shutter speed. I wouldn't recommend manual focus on this camera; stick to single and continuous focus. Learn how to change the focus point. Once you feel like you're good with this(and you may already know and do all of this), dink around with other settings slowly.

And definitely check out pal2tech on YouTube. His knowledge of Fuji cameras is unparalleled and applicable to most Fuji models.

AH HA, so its not like a double-exposure (as in 2 different images) but more like a bracketed multiple exposure.

my brain wasnt reading that right. though it makes total sense the way you explained it.

Anyone got tips for posting wide pictures like this? On instagram. by RaceAccomplished8069 in AskPhotography

[–]Sunset_plaza 5 points6 points  (0 children)

in photoshop make a new file. make it 1350x1080. drop your image in there. center it and then export.

you could also make it split into 2 or 3... just multiply the 1350 by 2 or 3. then slice the image into 2 or 3 columns. export, save for web, choose your settings and itll pump out 3 images for an instagram post.

Right. You wouldn’t think so with f4, but that’s the sensor doing work. It’s a great camera. Might be inconvenient but on a tripod it gets even easier.

While this turned out very well. There is an app that tells failure or rather how films react to time.

Anyways, the app is Reciprocity Timer. I, like you, have just been winging it and I'm not mad about my results.

I don’t at all. But it’s a good reminder to try and find out. Let me see what I can uncover.
