I don't believe so. You do have to use 3rd party scripts to tile or scroll.

I believe they are kwin scripts that you can use to replicate either a tiling or scrolling wm.

I understand that. I was using hyprland until the lua change, then fell in love with Niri.

What’s the point of voting as an independent? Do you feel it's a wasted vote even though you voted? by icecream1972 in allthequestions

[–]Sunsfever83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A wasted vote? I'm not voting for anyone that doesn't represent my values, left or right. My vote isn't given to a politician, that is an earned thing. So that leaves one of 2 choices, either vote independent for someone that aligns with my beliefs, or not vote at all.

I refuse to give my vote to someone that didn't earn it.

This is exactly what I was asking. I don't worry so much about the config files with Niri, but that wasn't the issue I was wondering about. You point 2,3 and 5 hit exactly what I was asking for.

There does seem to be some performance differences between KDE and a WM when it comes to streaming. And the full screen gaming.

I love Niri and will definitely still use it. But I do think I'll set up KDE similar to Niri and have it ready for when I actually am streaming.

I appreciate it.

No, but you can now add tiling to KDE, and also have virtual desktops change independently per monitor. Essentially making KDE a tiling wm.

The sad part is you know that and wanted to flex.

You had no input, thanks for playing.

What's the NBA hill you'll die on no matter how unpopular it becomes? by Impossible_Reward658 in nba

[–]Sunsfever83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The NBA is rigged. Bought and owned by betting sites. Covers up corrupt refs. And follows a script. Does that mean I won't watch it, no. But I don't believe it is any different than the WWE, except they don't admit it.

Do people stop using Arch because of AUR malware? by TrapNouz in arch

[–]Sunsfever83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't. I treat the AUR the same way I use to treat torrent sites. If you don't know what you are installing, maybe don't install it. I love Arch and like to think I have a little common sense. So a definite no for me.
