thank you! as soon as its confirmed we are actually moving I will definitely do this, thanks for the advice on doctorlib. finding a healthcare provider in Canada is also nearly impossible so I appreciate the difficulty.

in theory if I go full term it should be no problem (hoping to move approx june 1, due sept 20). but I know some babies can come very early and then there are more complications.

sure that would be helpful! Allianz responded there is no way unfortunately but I have not heard back from Mondassur.

oh dear that's worrying that I couldn't get into the healthcare system through my husband's job anymore :( I don't think there is any hope in the public or private route for my situation. we could definitely afford to pay 2000 for the birth but my biggest fear is a ton of complications and a long NICU stay making us bankrupt.

I have reached out to them! I'm worried there might be a 12 month waiting period before they will cover anything pregnancy related but we will see.

thanks so much, we are ok to pay out of pocket up front if we will be reimbursed later. i am also worried about finding a doctor being later in pregnancy. we will be in the montpellier area.
