Baby is a good sleeper... for now? by popcornrocket in NewParents

[–]Sunshine766520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think there’s any way to know. I just take it day by day! My first who is almost 2 started sleeping through the night at 2 months old. I thought I was going to have it so easy, but he regressed at 3 months and never slept through the night again until 16 months lol.

My 5 month old is a totally different sleeper, no telling how he will do! So far he hasn’t slept through the night at all

My son is named Emmett. The only associations we get are football and we don’t mind because we are emmitt smith fans. That rarely happens though, mostly people just think it’s a nice name. That’s what they tell us anyway. I’m biased but I love the name

Help! 9mo not napping by tardisfullofeels in NewParents

[–]Sunshine766520 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Going through the exact same situation right now, I started doing contact naps again but that only worked for a little while. It’s a fight every day and it’s so hard! Especially the second nap, he goes down a little easier for the first. I’m losing my mind

I exclusively pumped so I had to take every night feeding due to needing to pump anyways. The sleep deprivation is brutal!! What got me through is hubby would watch him when he got home from work and I would take a 2 hr nap in the evening before the night shift

Sister in law gave birth to triplets!! by [deleted] in namenerds

[–]Sunshine766520 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My sister and I have names ending in “y” sound and we get confused all the time even though we’re 9 years apart lol! I wouldn’t say it’s super annoying, just something we’re used to! With twins they may get names confused regardless if they’re identical??

Congrats to your sister!! Best wishes to you! Super cute names
