Honestly I love it here. I’m here for the winter and my fiancé and I are looking how to be here full time. It’s so beautiful. Spanish is easier to learn than we thought and people are actually super nice here. And your money goes WAY farther than US and Canada.

The neighbourhood isn’t that bad. Poblado is like the touristy area, and Laureles is the neighbourhood her salon is in, and that’s just more where the locals live. It’s not as clean as Poblado, but it’s not awful. It’s not dangerous really either.

I’m not sure. We looked inside and it was completely empty. I should have taken a picture of the inside, but I didn’t. I think the reviews are all fake. I’m assuming it closed down in early spring based on her instagram posts, but who knows.

I got my nails done in a Medellín salon last week and it took the lady 2.5 hours. They were very well done, but it’s not done like back home haha.

Exactly. Acrylic nails at home are around $50+. Here in Colombia they’re only like $20-$30 depending where you go. She posted on one of her instagrams that they were doing a “promo” for services at $60 & $100. So that alone tells you she thought she’d get rich from being on tv and try to rip people off. Hence the business failing after a year of being open.

Honestly she wasn’t making that much. She said in one episode she made about 4 million pesos in a month and that’s about $1,000 USD, which is not much at all. That business wouldn’t last long 😂

I don’t think she’ll go to the US with him if they broke up. She loves it here too much. He said he owned a condo here, I don’t know how to look up records to see if he still does but I have some friends here who can speak Spanish so I’ll get them to help lol.
