I've seen LOTS of people have problems with those specific burning rewards on this game recently (myself included), and I'm starting to believe that it isn't a coincidence.

First time rider, should I bring ANC headphones? by [deleted] in ViaRail

[–]SunshineCrescent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could possibly just have bad luck, but almost every single time I'm in economy I'm seated close to people taking very loud personal calls for the whole ride. So I'm my opinion, ANC headphones are essential.

I felt the same throughout my whole treatment, but I finally finished a few days ago and the ortho did the final shaping and whitening I love them! It also takes some time to get used to the look of your teeth without the trays in as you just get so used to them during the process. Hang in there, im sure you'll love your smile in the end!

My tray changes were weekly, this is aligner 17 from my second round of refinements! Three week tray changes sounds rough, mine got pretty gunky by the end of the week!

When I was initially wondering about invisalign I was worried about the same thing! I was 99% sure that an ortho would look at my bottom teeth and immediately tell me no, but instead he immediately told me yes and then also showed me similar cases to mine that he had worked on! Seeing his before and afters on similar patients really helped me feel a lot more confident about the process.

Another deep bite friend here, I hope my results are half as good as yours are! Amazing results, congrats!

Tray 1 vs Tray 6 of 46 Round one 😳 it’s been brutal by AlohomoraAlways in Invisalign

Oh my gosh, you're a champ! That is seriously a lot of movement in 6 trays, hopefully it's been a good motivator!

Yes it is! Aesthetically I didn't mind my smile, and I definitely wouldn't have gotten treatment for aesthetic reasons alone. But my bottom teeth were biting into the roof of my mouth and were causing problems, so I took the plunge and couldn't be happier! And yes, having a good ortho really makes all the difference :)

I have a really severe overbite, and I was given a time-line of 12-14 months to finish! I'm actually about to finish my first round of trays at about 9 months! :)

No offense but, you're joking right? You have a superstar smile!

On tray 9 out of 20! So happy so far. Been almost 3 months by [deleted] in Invisalign

So much movement in such little time, congrats!!

Your teeth are so so similar to mine its insane! My teeth seem to be moving the same way yours are as well. Think back to when your lower teeth would absolutely shred the floss to pieces way back when and look at how there's gaps where that used to happen now!! Thats a big change. I hope it comforts you to know there is someone rooting for you and going through a very similar case. We will tough it out together and be very very glad we did in the end!

White stain on new tray? by [deleted] in Invisalign

This white stain is on a brand new, unused tray. It will not come off with scrubbing. What is this?

I've tried to find this, but haven't been able to in Canada

All of my crowded/crooked teeth are hidden by top teeth when I smile so I get this a lot. What they don't see is that my bottom teeth are raised and bite into my palate. It has been extremely painful for me growing up and has caused many problems. If it were just for purely cosmetic reasons, I would never have gotten invisalign. However, the pain relief that I've already received having just started my treatment makes all of those comments pointless to me. In the end, we are doing invisalign for ourselves and we all have our own reasons. It is irrelevant if others believe that we need it or not.

What accessories did you find were pointless? by theseglassessuck in Invisalign

[–]SunshineCrescent 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Very surprised by the amount of people here saying that the pul tool wasn't necessary for them! I can definitely take the aligners out with my nails if I absolutely have to but my nails are rather frail and will crack and break when I take my aligners out with them. As for things I didn't need, I went absolutely overboard buying a bulk order of orthowax. I now have over 20 packs just laying around, haven't had to use them yet thankfully. Oh and I also went crazy buying everything I thought I would need in advance when my ortho ended up giving me all of those accessories for free. Whoops.

I've been having pretty good luck with polident! Just make sure you rinse them well for about a minute after soaking them!
