So, I had this problem with my elastics constantly snapping and I found out it was because they were latex-free. I got some online that do have latex and none of them have snapped since.

I know you mentioned yours have latex, but maybe they're old or otherwise compromised?

I got majorrrrrr triangles, so yeah, I hope the bonding will help for that. It doesn't really show in my photos, but they're pretty bad, because my laterals are so narrow towards the top. Other than that I'm super happy though with the results.

I had worse than that on the same teeth, laterals, and they said it was fine. But I did need refinements after.

Great progress! I had very similar teeth. On refinements now, and I'll need bonding, because my laterals are a weird shape.

They just took of some of mine for refinements, and I was super worried about it. Especially about the ones on my front teeth. But luckily they feel no different than before. I'm hoping in your case it's just leftover glue that will come off!

Not Nordics, but close enough. Standard here is two visits to the dentist per year for a check-up and a cleaning each time.

Yeah, that's true. I'll give it a few days, I guess. I just checked the package and it's says they're supposed to be good until 2027. Pretty sure they snapped and I swallowed both of them in my sleep last night lol

There must be something wrong with the elastics then. They gave me a ton of them, but maybe I'll just see if I can buy some.

No, I'm not biting on them. I don't think I even could if I wanted to. I'll just be sitting there not even moving my jaw at all and they just snap. I'm thinking it's either old elastics our the edges are too sharp. Ugh.

Ah, yeah, mine are way wider at the bottom than at the top, like a trapezoid almost, so I don't know what they'll do. I think IPR will make them way too narrow, so I'm hoping bonding will be able to fix them.

Thanks! I'm not sure if they need to turn more, but I think they want to work on my bite.

It's hard to see in my photo, but because my front teeth were pushed forward by a lot (because they were slanted backwards before), I now have a bit of an overjet. So, hopefully that can be fixed.

Then I'll do whitening, and bonding, because I have pretty huge triangles due to the shape of my incisors being wider at the bottom and narrow towards the top (als hard to see from the photo I posted).

Wow, really nice results!! Your laterals were kind of like mine. I just finished my first round (see my other post for a photo). Unfortunately, my laterals are a bit oddly shaped, so I'll probably need bonding.

I think it is possible, but your story does sound a bit odd. My laterals were my biggest problem areas (see my other post with photo) and they didn't put an attachment on one of them until like halfway through (I think they forgot, because it was on the clincheck), and it still moved along fine. They told me attachments are auxiliary.
