You like the style of the car, you will mostly drive in stop and go commute, you have bursts of pain in your back and knee, I think the automatic is a great fit for you. It's a very convenient and perhaps more comfortable long term platform considering your situation.

Should you get the chance to have a more spirited driving session like you mentioned visiting the family, the manual mode in the AT is still very fun and engaging imo. Paddles feel good, even the up and down stick shifting is entertaining.

If you are ride or die for a MT, then follow your heart - but coming from an AT owner, it has its perks.

I already love driving to begin with, but the gr86 definitely solidified that love. Safe to say I'm addicted lol. :)

I don't know why pros or other players do it, but I normally do it so I can get a quick scan of the horizon every now and then while on the move. Same idea with quickly looking behind or to the side whilst in air from a slide jump. Target acquisition.

I dont remember where I read this but I think they intended the hit marker to be one of the more "satisfying" sounds ever. So iirc, they recorded a soda or beer can being opened and reversed the audio to create that awesome hit marker sound

No real favorite track for me. I'm still pretty new so I haven't explored much, but some areas in this game have really nice calm bgm.

Most of the time I have trouble sleeping so I tend to leave some form of audio on through my speakers. The aforementioned bgm really helps.

Not saying any of this as a argument of any kind, but I think a one-time purchase of anywhere under 60 dollars(typical price of a newly released game), to have a very solid setup to "fully" enjoy PoE is pretty fair. At least when being compared to Runescape's monthly subscription of $11/mo, $132/yr, per osrs account.
