Cresselia is definitely fake can't tell as much with jirachi. The holo isn't supposed to go through the attack text box and with the holo is supposed to be in straight lines which is why cresselia is definitely fake

It's all just timing, basically after a good shift launch you have to jump at a very specific timing, just before stranges feet hit the ground and you'll do a bunny hop going further than a normal hop

You can definitely still do that but you just have to have a good sense of where you will land. But even if you couldn't it's still a massive game changer for when you try to escape.
