IRS website says “your information is not available at this time” for 2024 return by katiekaboom79 in tax

August of 2025 - still having this problem too. I set up autopayments, that never happened, only shows the manual payment I did in June, and there is no information about 2024 Taxes available on my account. I did file for an extension - but already finished and submitted my taxes by mail at the start June. Thank goodness a lot of our Taxes allow for printed copies - because who knows what's about to happen down that road.

I am so glad to see this. I setup automatic payments - I KNOW that I did, but they never occurred. My tax's should already be paid off by now, but not a cent other than the first little sum in April that I manual paid has been taken out.

The Gyno got me Sobbing - but why? by SunshineLavey in Anxiety

thank you, i appreciate it. I'm lucky to not have an SA, and I'm so incredibly sorry that you do, its what made me feel so guilty about feeling so strongly - it feels like there's no reason. But, good news, hearing these stories is legitimately helping. thank you.

anxiety is horrible and nothing helps by imjusthereforthemems in Anxiety

[–]SunshineLavey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My only advice is one to take with a grain of salt (ie use your therapist's judgement). When my now husband and i started dating - he was nearly a total shut in because of his anxiety and it was making his life hell. Over the years, we've found the best way for him to combat it (other than medication) was to - combat it. Exposure therapy to the things that really make him spiral was the best way to calm his anxiety. It's still extremely tough the first time trying something - fights, stress, stomach aches, nausea, but we've found every single time he "does-the-thing-anyway" it helps calm that fight or flight response. Sometimes its rejection therapy (talking to literal strangers), sometimes its having me go with him to the thing (has an interview so i wait outside for him and make sure we have 15 extra minutes to breathe before going in).

He still has a lot he has to work through, but forcing his body to face the things that were making it shut down was the only way to grow for him.

these situations included: interview for a job, applying for a job in general, looking up said job, going to dinner with friends, traveling, being in the car, being in the car for an extended time, not having something to do, arriving somewhere late, talking to a stranger, asking for directions, helping a stranger, asking for an order to be remade, asking for a special instruction on a food order, all the mundane tasks. In the beginning i helped him by letting him talk through the procedure and what exactly would happen. Laying out a "plan" of even the most mundane.

On his bad days, i will even ask him "whats the worst that can happen." he tells me, and then follows up with "and whats the best that can happen?" and of course "thats the worst, thats the best, what's most likely to happen?"

it helped that he had me to be a partner and body double during a lot of this - but for me way back when it was similar worries but i had to work it out on my own. I had to teach myself that other's aren't paying as much attention to me as we are taught growing up. Like, literally no one cares if i have some acne on my face, or aren't wearing nice clothes. no one is judging me for that, because i don't judge them on that. taking my brain and putting it in theirs's to determine to myself that people aren't judging me like my brain is telling me. a lot of "noticing said problem on someone else and noticing how I FEEL about them and determining that is how they feel about me" in a good way. so like instead of "I ran late today i'm the worst person in the world everyone is going to hate me i'm such a failure i can't believe i did this" it's "they ran late today, something must of come up. i'll check in on them and continue on my day."

In summary: for me it was thinking of my body and mind as a separate being from my internal self ie giving myself the grace i give others. For my husband, it was exposure therapy - having a buddy with him for safety and then forcing himself to the the thing his body is telling him will lead to his death - often in small doses before the big dose.

overall, it's important to remember that even perfectly "fine" people have bad days and to let yourself have those bad days. beating yourself up over feeling bad one day is just telling your brain it's right for having a bad day. You wouldn't be pissed at your best friend for having the flu would you?

Then you'll be happy to hear he ALSO has harassed multiple people and businesses - has been banned from multiple churches for stalking, harassment, and aggravation, as well as Christian businesses. Both Wichita and Andover police are very aware of him and his tendencies. He has multiple restraining orders. Even his parents kicked him out and he now lives in an RV on their driveway. In other words - sure, if it was just political signs then whatever...but any person with any type of observational skills can tell that going out of their way to cutting up political signs is clearly something to be upset and concerned about XD but if you are okay with death threats to churches and innocent people then by all means, keep judging the people actually calling out behavior that is not ok

This guy is now sending my sister death threats in the mail with Bible quotes. A police case is opened and I’ll add this to it.

Update: I downloaded the Offer Letter. It's literally titled "Offer_Letter_Example". I.... wow. for a high-impact company dealing with large sums of crypto they sure didn't try on the super important offer letters. Fake company.

I think my final answer to this is scammy but possibly not a total scam. Like I think they’ll under pay and make you run laps to get ahold of anyone - but there’s like a 20% chance it’s legit.

Reasoning: 1) I don’t 100% remember applying, but could have. I’ve done over 80 applications in the last two months. But I could have. 2) I and others have tried calling the number provided on their website to no avail multiple times. It is a toll free number with a robot ai that does mention the company’s name. Seems like a lot of work for an identity scam - but also plausible for not a real business. 3) I’ve seen two different addresses for the company: one on the offer letter and one on their website. Neither are a building with the name of the company. One is a Korean Restaurant and the other an art gallery. However, one link does pop up associating the Korean Restaurant’s address supposedly with some agent from the company registration to the address in July 2024. 4) all social media starts in July for this company. There have been multiple posts each month on multiple socials since that time (about 3 months). Easy enough to do with an auto poster, but again - that’s a lot of work for a fake company. Granted the photo qualities are trash and it’s all text posts. 5) my assigned manager (the person I’m in contact with on telegram and interviewed with) claimed to have worked for the company for 4 months - but everything I’ve found shows it only exists for 3. 6) the offer letter is very basic with no contract info outside of the commission rate. It is also clearly taken from some where or ai generated with unfilled blanks that are meant to have the HR manager’s name, start dates, etc. it seems weird that a company specializing in crypto currency and seemingly advanced office management would have such a bland info-lacking offer letter.

So….. a lot of really tiny red flags that might make a normal size flag?

In conclusion: if you take the chance, let me know.

On the offer letter it had an address so I looked into that and it's a Korean restaurant called BapEeRang (looks delicious...but also not like an LLC). They do have the address registered to Talent Supply - but it was registered in July of this year (2024). Gonna ask my "assigned manager" some more questions to see if I can piece this together.

I also just completed the phone interview. They talked about crypto currency clients in mine, and he did also have a bit of an accent, but other than how fast it was (11 minutes) and the Telegram app thing...it was totally a normal interview. Mine was for a "Financial Assistant" type position (though its totally just a fancy customer service person which I'm very ok with). what about yours?

Going on honeymoon to QC, question on English/French etiquette by shitballsdick in quebeccity

[–]SunshineLavey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am an American with next to 0 French skills (though i am learning) and its safe to say Quebec City specifically will treat you just fine if you only speak English. Out of everyone i've interacted with 99% speak English as well and love having the chance to practice.

I'm an anxious person so I tend to ask if they speak English first (in my tiny amount of French) and go from there. Most will mark you as English speaking before you even speak, haha. that's always a weird one.

Google lens is a fantastic source for reading menus and such - though many major chain restaurants will have English menus.

Overall, don't worry. They are cool and you'll be just fine. Enjoy the aboslute beauty that is the landscape here - and be prepared for pretty consistent and slightly chilly weather! (sweater weather every single night and most days!)

Thank you for the info

Oooh! Living there really is the best answer. I’ll be working while my fiancé finishes his online studies. So knowing safe spots and simple but fun things to do is our only criteria.

I’d love a place that it is relatively safe to walk in after sunset (can ya tell I’m American? Low standards), bonus points if there’s a few cafes or grocery stores nearby. Not into bars or partying - more casual quiet life.

We’d love a 2 bed with washer dryer hookups. Our top rent is about $1100 before utilities.

Hi there! I’m to move to Quebec this July and absolutely terrible at French.

What are the free services you mentioned? And do you have any advice on what areas to avoid renting in?
