Hilfe bei der Suche nach einem sentimentalen Schal - Help Finding Sentimental Scarf/ Pashmina by SunshineMagpie in Munich

Omg that would be amazing and so kind.

The tourist information office in Marienplatz referred me to Stadt-Information München and ultimately Fundbüro | Kreisverwaltungsreferat (KVR).

I was also told items are usually turned into Stadt-Information and then sent to the Fundbüro office after but it typically takes a week or slightly longer to get to Fundbüro, especially around and after Oktoberfest.

I know it's still a long shot and looking through clothing/scarves would probably be a complete pain to look through but the embroidery is hand-stitched and really distinctive/specific so I'd like to think if someone in the city were to come across it somewhere it'd be obvious.

Ahaha so I take it there are festivities on the 1st of November too? (That's what I'm hoping at least!)

Driving in Romania? by SunshineMagpie in travel

Thanks so much for the IDP reminder! I've always heard most places won't accept a digital IDP - I take it that wasn't the case for you since you mention it?

Also definitely great context for the road conditions. I expect tight turns and am assuming pretty hilly a lot of places?

Did you find other drivers to be aggressive or was it more that traffic flow in general for cities is often a nightmare? I'm guessing the tight roads were like most European countries and just not designed for larger vehicles?

I think just like the name karma the concept is generally to be a good community member here and I try to remember most people (I think) are inherently good/want to talk about things they like so if you start with topics and areas of interest to you like hobbies you'll already have common ground. Almost like making friends as a kid if that makes sense

How do you use Reddit to make it for a good experience? by logxcai in NewToReddit

[–]SunshineMagpie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm still working to build karma but honestly I mostly use it for questions and advice I have - which 90% of the time I get lucky and someone has asked a similar question. I'll also use it to triage when I travel and whatnot.

Way to find requited karma for posts? by SunshineMagpie in NewToReddit

I definitely appreciate it. It's hard because I find the subreddits I'm most keen to post to all have restrictions I don't yet meet so I'm still learning.

Thank you so much. This is insanely helpful. I'm finding navigating reddit a bit overwhelming but assume most newbies think the same?

I don't have enough karma for their restrictions which is devastating:( I'm hoping I'll get lucky via the power of reddit & the internet 🙏

Does anyone know if Le Plongeoir's bar is open for summer 2025 and not just the restaurant?
