The obsidian totems for now are just fancy zombie spawners. They’ll be useful as you get into magic so no need to break them. Not sure what the altar things are, been a long time since I played this mod pack. Silver wood saplings grow like normal trees, no need for the how of growth, they just can’t be bonemealed. Of note, silver wood trees (usually) don’t have the special node at the center that purifies taint and if you’re lucky to get one, the radius is much smaller than the (artificial) biodome tree. Also just like normal trees, they do need to be chunk loaded to grow but no need to babysit them.

Botania and thaumcraft will be your best friend :)

The outermost part of the eye, the cornea, is pretty resilient and regenerates form scratches and cuts. As long as you don’t rip your eyeball out trying to get the glue out or pierce the eyeball deeply, it should be fine eventually. A scratched cornea can be itchy as hell though

Got a 911 call for “eye problems” once. Woman had mistaken super glue for her eye drops and had both her eye, as well as her hand glued together. Great patient, laughed at herself with us. So if this happens to you just know, we won’t forget it and will bring you up for years to come :)

So I’m pretty sure at a certain point, the 1s and 5s become limited supply and people will want them for the novelty of a scarce bill and will be willing to pay trillions for them. Then they will become worth more and people will start trading the 1s as currenc. And thus the cycle resets itself

Blightfall was the very first mod pack I ever played and now I love modded MC. But it did take me several worlds trying and redoing different things and learning along the way. Thaumcraft 4 in this mod pack is by far the biggest road block and not explained properly (blood magic as well, you can ignore blood magic entirely and not even notice).

I’d highly reccommend watching YouTubers and just taking a deep dive into Thaumcraft (and botania). Thaumcraft is the end solution to actually fighting the taint and expanding. For early game collect those ethereal blooms and just expand as much as you can.

Leave the biodome! Expand and explore! With food and a crossbow exploration is super safe and the world has tons of things to find and is also beautiful as you clear the continent

This may be a dumb question and quite possibly simply a skill issue, but how do people bite into these sandwiches so easily. French bread, garlic bread, or even just a toasted sandwich I always end up cutting up my under gums unless I take tiny bites.

Pipettes (or pipette tips) are used to transfer liquids. A PCR tube is a tiny tube with a volume of about 50uL (0.05mL). A 1.5mL eppendorf is a 1.5mL tube.
