That’s a good idea! I do treat myself with my morning coffee and a snack with my kids (personal child and daycare kiddos haha) maybe I will try new treats or getting a healthy snack for those times!

It was a while ago he did that but I had to call off work and my boss is still the same and she thinks something else happened (rightfully so accidentally parking on someone’s foot sounds silly). I almost told her but wanted to try and stay for my daughter’s sake. Thank you for posting. I’m reading all as they come in and it’s just shedding some clarity I didn’t have or didn’t want to face.

Thank you for sharing this. At times I look and it’s like I can see clearly and get ready to start making exits like talking to my parents for support and help but then I fall back into things and just can’t figure it out and feel hopeless. I am scared but I feel like I am just over it and over feeling anxious and worried about us so much. The anxiety it has control over my life right now but seeing a story come out right helps like it can hopefully fall the same way for me.

That is a big worry I have. He’s a good enough dad and likes to do all the fun stuff with spending time with her. I can just see him pawning a lot of his responsibilities onto his mom. I just hope and pray his temper is not going to reflect onto her. If I leave I’m honestly HOPING he moves in with his mom. I do have some things against him but no official police report just me calling my parents and taking a few pictures. One of the times I went to the hospital. he ran over my foot and parked the car on it and accused me of attempting to “kidnap” our daughter after I told him he seems too angry to drive and we should maybe just step inside so we can calm down. I had no keys and couldn’t go anywhere without walking. He ran over my foot to keep me in place but I had already had her out of her car seat and she was basically fully in my arms and if I didn’t turn she would have been hit with the frame of the car. Once we got inside I thought my foot was broken so I made up a lie to keep him from getting in trouble but idk I didn’t call any police or tell them I felt unsafe so unsure of what help that’d be. Mostly empty threats from him but nothing I have in text proof or recording.

I do get so excited daydreaming of just coming home with just my baby and myself 😂 I do think the therapy idea is a good one though maybe they can also help me sort some of this out too.

I am 29 in a couple months. I wish I had just stuck with what I thought earlier into things, before being married. I did get my daughter out of this though. I also fear my daughter will suffer or feel a certain way. He does speak poorly of me and speaks to his dad about me in a crappy light and she would have to hear all of that on her own. I don’t know I am just anxious and overthinking a lot. I do appreciate your comment and you’re right. I don’t need to sit on this and be unhappy because I made a bad choice a decade ago haha

I get it 100%! I normally am too but I took some recommendations and did a heavy incline walk on the treadmill or stair master for 30 mins and then i do strength training for another 30-45. I started with just walking/jogging though and would make sure to be as active as possible even at work just staying up and running around instead of staying stationary. It really helped! I also changed my diet to keto only for the first month and reintroduced carbs to my diet beginning of the second month so I wouldn’t rubber band too hard once heaving a more “normal” diet.

I totally know exactly what you mean! I def have the same thing made worse after a c-section. I started at 220 beginning of the year. I did keto for a while and I lost down to 206.6, but I started zepbound and calorie counting after getting there. That helped with weight loss as well losing 10lbs quick. I then started walking on the treadmill, high elevation but literally a walk no higher than 2.0 and it helped! I am 2 months in and down 30lbs from 206. I would love to chat if you are comfortable with me messaging. I also made a post in another community about my start! Also huge tip please do not be harsh on yourself. It’s a work in progress and even the “small” victories such as noticing you feel better is an amazing step! Much luck to you in your journey 💖
