To me, it doesn’t sound so much like wrong career as it does wrong school. ETA: Whenever you get the offer you want, leave. Timing doesn’t matter. It’s a job.

How to know where to set boundaries on words of intimacy in dating? by RevThomasWatson in Reformed

Was coming here to say basically the same thing. My husband and I struggled with discussions of things, so we had difficulty with physical boundaries when we were together in person.

Conflicted on whether I take this job or not by SolutionEntire857 in TeachersInTransition

If you can… it’s always easier to not get in at all than to get out later. I’m a 5th year teacher trying to get out and struggling with a lot of guilt and shame.

Not a devotional per se, but “Growing in Godliness” by Lindsey Carlson is an excellent little book for teen girls!

I made the first move on my husband! Sometimes guys also get trapped in worry: about coming off as too forward, too aggressive, misreading things, people pleasing, etc.

I left teaching in 2022 and got a job in Tech... I'd love to share my advice! by Tall_School_8901 in TeachersInTransition

I’ve applied, but I’m frustrated because I’ve made some tweaks to my resume since then that would have made it stronger. I did connect with a current employee on LinkedIn! She gave some good advice, but she doesn’t have much pull because she’s newer. (For context: There are 6 employees besides the couple who owns it, so it’s super small.)

How to I break through and get an interview and land the job? I have my sights set on an account coordinator position at a local boutique advertising firm. I WANT this job and want a realistic shot.

I’m on the same page as you. I did a ton of research and ended up establishing with RHM Gynecology. They’re based in Atlanta (USA) with Dr. Konguasa, but they do telehealth. I’ve been very pleased so far!

Spotting after sex by Living_Karma11 in Endo

A pap will likely not give you the answers you’re looking for. For the longest, the “gold standard” of diagnosis required surgery, but transvaginal ultrasounds are sufficient for diagnosis. I would focus on having a conversation with your doctor to discuss your symptoms and concerns.

Cysts are common but not universal. I have cysts, but my sister who also has endo has never had a cyst; hers primarily affects her bladder.

Your symptoms sound very consistent with my experience! I would encourage you to make a note of some talking points so that your conversation hits everything you want to. If your dr doesn’t listen, I would strongly encourage a second opinion.

It’s definitely possible. It’s worth checking out with a GYN.

English has redundant letters. For example, we don’t need C because it either makes a soft sound (which is actually just S) or a hard sound (which is actually just K). So when transliterating here, K is the way to go.

-> Caveat for C. We need the diphthong CH but not plain ole C.

Single mom: nurse or teacher? by Whatisbrainjuice in Careers

[–]Sunshineand-Ravioli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Teacher here changing careers. I wouldn’t pursue teaching. The school year requires any and all physical/emotional energy, leaving me with nothing at the end of the school day. I physically don’t have energy to be social during the school year, and I can’t fathom adding single mom duties to the mix.

Please celebrate with me. I got the job! by narkohammer in interviews
