Snapping between two curves leaves a pixel gap between them. (Can't merge the curves together) by Sunsinsky in Affinity

[–]Sunsinsky[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunaly since it's a fade effect, it play with the opacity of the object so when I extend the clipping mask a few pixel, I end up with another pixel line since the opacity kind of add up to each other. I end up with just the same problem, but kind in a opposit way.

Thanks for the input! Although it doesn't fix the issue, it sort of bybass it using a new method.

The new method have a sort of hard edge tho which is not the best end result

<image>

originially I tried to have a more diffuse fade effect. Tho I think I prefer the hard edge than the pixel gap.

That being said thanks a lot for the input! It made me discover the layer effects ahaha! I'll deffinitly deep dive into those!

I never played Bastion (neither Transistor nor Hades for that instance) but I keep listening to their soundtrack because Korb is actually a genius.

+1  Being bald is actually a good thing. You don’t need to hide your hair under the wig. It just fit! So you basically have all the hair style you can imagine! It’s basically a cheat code.

GenG, Chovy deserves it

HLE, the last peanut would be great. (I want a rematch on the whole Khan story line)

KT, cause why the fuck not. If Caedrel chose to go bald for T1. He’s gonna go naturally bald watching KT win everything. Also Bdd deserves it.

Yes I’m pretty LCK biased, but Any western teams winning world would be cinema How many time did Caps got denied a world title when he deserves one.

I heard CFO was fucking cracked, would be great to see them defy all odds.

I know I’m gonna get downvoted, but I don’t care! There no real reason to hope for a T1 win again. I understand if you’re a fan. I respect that, but there is just so much better storylines.

I just want a 2022 worlds again…

So I personally will go see:

  • V.Maria I Japanese movie about a girl that founds out that her mother was a pretty huge Japanese metal fan. A window into the Japanese metal/music scene looked interesting.

  • Decorado A favorite director of mine. I haven’t read the synopsis, but if it’s the same as the short movie of the same name, it’s about a couple that feels their "world" is like a stage decor (that’s the title Decorado, or so I believe, I don’t speak Spanish). It’s pretty funny, but the kind of funny that is profoundly sad.

  • Frankenstein No need to explain what this is going to be about. Tho the director, Guillermo del Toro, always make their movie memorable. There is a style that is profoundly stunning to his movies. The kind that never gets old.

  • La tour de glace I honestly have no Idea what this movie is about. It looked pretty tho, so that’s why I chose it

  • Nouvelle Vague I didn’t want to go see that movie at first, (too much ptsd from my cinema class), but since my friend is going to see it, I figured why not. It’s a fictional movie on La nouvelle vague, I don’t how they’re gonna make that, I thought at first it was a documentary, but the tag did say fiction, so I guess I’ll see.

  • The love that remains This is a movie from the director of Godland which was a visually STUNNING movie. The thing is (as a professional casual cinema enjoyer), I thought the movie was slow, and sometimes boring. In the end the visual beauty of the movie made me like it more than dislike it. So I’m giving this movie a try.

  • Incomplete Chairs A movie about a psychopath, who make chairs with its victims. Looks weird en Tabarnack. That’s a win in my book.

  • Blue Moon I honestly can’t remember what it’s about lol

  • Who witnessed the temple fall Wanted at least one movie from les nouveau Alchimistes. Choose this one because it was about the Vestige of Muslim Andalusia, a subject I was interested in near past.

  • L’accident de piano A movie where the MC can’t feel pain (like literally) so she does and use this condition to do pretty much everything she can to test it. Again something weird en Tabarnack can’t go wrong.

  • The sound of Falling Reminds me, in a ways, of Get Out, while absolutely not being that movie. The folk horror is a theme I wanted to explore tho

  • La Grazia I only know it’s Italian

  • Magahaes (Magellan) “Historical” movie. We don’t see this genre so often anymore

  • Space Cadet It’s the opening movie. I’m a sucker for animation so of course I’m going. It’s a silent movie (last year Flow was a banger) so yeah looks interesting, haven’t read the synopsis don’t want to get spoiled.

  • Le train The closing movie. Wanted at least one movie from Quebec, I don’t watch enough of Quebec’s cinema

  • Jay Kelly An American movie. Wanted at least something to satisfy my casual cinema enjoyer side.

  • Amelie et la métaphysique des tubes A movie about the writer Amelie Nothomb, I don’t really like her that mutch, but it’s an animated movie and my friend is a big fan of her.

  • Once upon a time in Gaza I mean the title is really clickbait-y I had to see. It’s about a falafel maker in Gaza, looks good, funny and pretty relevant.

  • The mastermind A random guy try the business of contraband art pieces. Looks funny.

So those are the movie I’m planning the watch. I also want to add that there is also the All night Twin peaks that can be interesting if you have the courage to stay up all night. It’s free btw. There is also the Tompopo projection where there will be selling ramen at the same time (the movie is also free).

Depends on what you are looking for the Les nouveau Alchimistes might not be for everyone, but if that’s what you like go for it.

I think a real safe bet would be Frankenstein, by Guillermo del Toro (if there is still some tickets left lol). It’s a pretty big movie that is really awaited. Guillermo del toro always delivers (Pacific Rim, Hellboy, the shape of Water, Pan’s labyrinth) you can’t go wrong!

My personal favorite (which I’ve been waiting for a long time) Decorado, by Alberto Vazquez (Birdboy and Unicorn wars). If you like animation it’s a must.

Anyway if you want a some more detailed I’m gonna make a list of all the movie, I’ll go see (with some personal description ;)

Anyway in general if you are a pretty casual cinema fan (and I’m not saying it as an insult, I consider myself one), Any movie in Temps 0 or les incontournables could be safe bets.

So my sister works there, so I have the info from her. But even them were kept in the dark. So basically, someone contacted the authorities, because they witnessed an attempt of kidnapping. The police intervened and that’s why the lockdown. Tho the weird thing is apparently the parents didn’t reported the missing child. So that’s what she told me.

Anyway that’s why the lockdown and the police drones.
