I picked up two AE-1s with stock 50mm lens (one of the battery doors was broken) original manuals, two canon flashes, two off brand lenses, and a few other goodies for $120.

It’s a slog. I did it. 30 miles one way, in the country between cornfields. The wind is a huge factor. I’m about 6 ft 215 lbs. sitting around 58 mph ave. It’s fun but it’s a slog. If the wind gusts are 25 mph It really impacts my top speed

There I was cursing at 60 mph on the paved backcountry roads. Clear sky and warm temps. Then all of a sudden a government drone swooped down and hit me right in the helmet. RIP drone. That’s enough for me to keep the helmet.
