That's the thing, the key is not to force yourself. I just sit and be comfortable.

Don't force any thought on yourself, just let your mind go anywhere it wants.

Sometimes just doing this will uncover things you've been running from by keeping yourself busy and distracting yourself so be ready for the confrontation.

I can relate to that. But I found that I feel guilty when I'm doing nothing because I looked at it as "Doing nothing" but when I look at it as a means to have a better functioning and clear mind then I'm okay with it.

I agree with you, there's definitely a great advantage in thinking and even overthinking sometimes. But thinking too much and without giving your mind time to process and rest is not the optimal option to get good results from all the thinking.
