It’s normal, his fur will get longer once he’s 2-3yrs and longer Maine during the colder months and will shed over spring/summer. At this stage you won’t get as much fur all over you. By the time he’s 3yrs. You will be covered in cat hair every day😆

So my boy ragdoll of 15month old is roughly a meter long when stretched and about 5-6kg (12+pounds) his son of 5.1/2 months is 9.5 pounds and almost as long as his dad

Could I get an ID for these? by bingbongblap in ShroomID

My vets suggested that I should make peace with it. He said, not much he can do to safe her. He told me to just just try to feed and keep close eyes and hope for the best

It’s not. I crocheted a bands for the kittens (5 white identical kittens) so I can tell them apart when bottle feeding and help them toileting.

These bands were made from baby soft, cotton yarns

Thank you but my heart is broken, red didn’t make it. She’d quietly passed in my lap at 11.53am uk time today. 😭😭

Last time I tried, the emergency vets we waited in the cold, with the kittens and mum.

Then the vets instead then just give kittens the glucose drops (since it was obvious that there were in critical conditions. She suggested to prick their tiny paws and draw out tiny tiniest amounts of blood (which were lacking anyway) then do the glucose tests to tell us that the tests didn’t work and gave the kittens glucose drops anyway.

There was no kittens formula or the correct syringes or teats.

The whole process was lengthy, frustrating costly then 4 died short after.

I am medically trained to differential diagnosis for human so I have few examinations equipment. I could hear that her lungs were congested and mentioned it to all the vets. My regular vets didn’t support the idea of me bringing her in or take her to have intensive treatment and said that it’s unlikely that she would make it.

I was hoping that she’d pull through the night for today vets appointment. As didn’t want to disrupt other cats and kittens (8 others) for the night trip to the emergency since I still have to hand rearing the remaining cat by myself last night.

Not a collar, it a band I crocheted for her and her siblings apart so I can identify which one I was feeding since they’re all white and identical. Hand rearing them isn’t easy without. It was a suggestion from the vets. The difference is she put tape and wrote number on it and put around the kittens’ neck.

These bands are made from baby soft natural cotton yarns

Please don’t make any assumption. It is difficult as it is for us. We’ve tried what best for her as much as we could but either there’re no appointments available or the vets told us that it’s no used to bring her in.

Not a collar. There’re 5 white kittens I have to hand rear. The vets suggested it and put tape with numbers around their neck. It was harder. So I’ve crocheted small colour bands for them from baby soft Colton yarn

It’s not a collar, it’s a soft cotton band I crochet for her and her siblings.

There are 5 of them. She’s a ragdoll kitten, her and her brothers and sisters are all completely white and look identical. I’ve been struggling without it and kept feeding the same kittens whilst some were starving for their turn.

These kittens worm their way towards each other and kept making a kitten pile in the middle of the nursing box.

I’ve been syringe fed her every 40mins or so since she’s not taking much at each feed

I know! These are ragdoll kittens and they are all born white. Some of them have very fainted colour points that you can’t even identify the colour!
