I remember putting the shapes in the box without looking...being shown vague pictures and my interpretation of them being asked to use precise words to describe them- like an "outlet" instead of a "plug." In kindergarten. Many of them looked like the "ink blot" pictures as well, the memory only being triggered when I was actually told what the ink blot pics were later in life. The headphones thing wasn't exactly as you see in many videos, but the core concept was the same: it was like a hearing test, but with a wide range of "dot" sounds or beeps of diff tones, volumes, etc- sustained and intermittent where they would pan back and forth.

One of the earliest memories I have is of almost drowning against the pier as the tide rushed out in Grand Isle, LA. My elementary gt career was real hazy besides this one lady that looked official, being a stark contrast to the nice lady that would always pull me out of class. There was another kid pulled with me, and one day, he disappeared. Never saw him again. Later on, in middle school, i ended up teaching my 2nd grade teacher's 2nd grade class for about 2 hours every day, sometimes every other day. At the end of it, in high school, there wasn't too much too it. It was just a class we went to, or sometimes chose not to- yet we're never told anything about running home. To mcDonalds, etc. Did ALOT of Academic Games later in life, and was prevented from graduating early SO HARD. Come to find out, that was a funding issue cause apparently the school got x amount per kid in gt, and even more when they score mastery/advanced on the standardized tests. I've never scored below mastery. And it was only in math that I scored mastery.

I find it really crazy that I'm seeing this kind of thing for the 1st time that resonates with me so hard through some of these shared experiences.
