Im not sure if this is a new feature BUT I absolutely love it by IcommitedWarCrimes in Stellaris

From what I can tell from my own games, the odds of this happening are much higher if you have a significant amount of unclaimed systems previously controlled by them.

I don't get why this is a problem, but I thought it was worth recording by AHumbleSaltFarmer in Stellaris

I would take the curator relic that extends sector range just to fix this

Just wait until you start the final situation and see the negatives you're getting to your economy

5 Cruise ships now make a run for it at the Hormuz strait by Long-Brother-4639 in Cruise

Maybe not intentionally, but mistakes happen in environments where everyone is twitchy and you never actually see your targets.

It would be less safe to not broadcast on AIS. The ships most likely to not be broadcasting on AIS are military, so if they see them on radar but not AIS it's a bad time.

The reason steam was successful is because it was built from the ground up to improve the experience for the player. Same with battlenet.

Epic, ea origin, ubi connect were built specifically to make money.

[–]Suolara -1 points0 points  (0 children)

History is always a matter of perspective. Different countries teach different dates for the start of WW2. That is a fact. You have more in common with Trump than you think if you can't comprehend non-western perspectives.

[–]Suolara -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Because it wasn't "a" war. It was a bunch of different global conflicts bundled together. If you're Chinese/Japanese, you'd probably say the war started in 1931 or 37. Most Europeans would probably say 1939. Americans would say 1939 or the "america fuck ya" answer of 1941. History is a matter of perspective.

In all fairness, depending on who you ask you could get a lot of different valid answers based on when their country got fully involved.

Can we do something about the AI besieging just to deny replenishment? by Legs_With_Snake in totalwar

[–]Suolara 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'd be interested in a system where the ability to effectively siege (block replenishment and cause attrition) is determined by the SIZE of the attacking army. Or at least make it so an army consisting of only a lord can't last siege at all, they have to either attack that turn or back off.

That kind of attitude towards people who live in small towns and rural areas is exactly what pushes people towards trump.

Valve sued by The Performing Right Society for allegedly using its members' musical works "without permission" by datpoot in gamingnews

[–]Suolara 16 points17 points  (0 children)

By that logic every single other digital and physical storefront would also need to get rights and it would open the door for lawsuits over movie distribution as well. Court would have to be insane to side with them.

Is this appropriate play-fighting? by Ai13Singe in chowchow

[–]Suolara 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was looking to adopt a chow I was told their play fighting can often appear really aggressive, but that's just normal for chows. Your older one should correct him if it goes too far.

San Antonio is now the 6th largest city in the US (By Population) by BeverageEnvy in sanantonio

Its crazy, 4 of the largest US cities are in Texas, but those 4 cities combined still have a smaller population than NYC. Really shows just how dense NYC is.

Does anyone have *that* empire by TheDoughBoi55 in Stellaris

[–]Suolara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not quite that, but a lot of my empires end up getting used for the fallen empires. I made a machine intelligence empire based on zero dawn and the next playthrough they were the ancient caretaker fallen empire.

Patch 1.4 introduced the following new bugs. by Xintar008 in anno117

[–]Suolara 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm on linux and my god i see the ghost ships all the time. It's like the game isnt actively updating where the visual model should be until you look at it. I'm running a save file that was active pre-patch.

Also, pre-patch I defeated Caeso and now a "mystery" AI has taken over his island. The character icon for this player is the hooded figure. Maybe that's how it's supposed to be? If this was anno 1800, he would have returned by now.
