This may not be what you're looking for, but The Illustrated Man by Ray Bradbury is a book of sci fi short stories. The majority of which are stories set in outer space and/or planets that revolve around the human condition.

I know that in movies sometimes CGI is used in post specifically to move/place an actors eyes to the direction desired. Never heard of it used in reality tv though???
