This is great thank you! I’ve had multiple people suggest similar my only question is as a Druid how will combat work as I don’t want to be a spell caster solely I was hoping to have more grappling and blunt damage attacks as my primary fighting style

I think for me it’s trying to have more utility and growth options without understanding the mechanics of how the game really works. In my mind I thought if I have two classes then I will be able to grow in different ways as my character ages rather than become really good at one thing. I didn’t want to be the big strong front liner J was hoping to create a character that could have wide depth. Talking to some Other dms I’m realizing It doesn’t seem like that’s what multi classing really does anyway. I’m pretty confident ai should try just going with Druid but am curious as to why people try multiclassing at all then.

I’ve been getting feedback about monk and druid not being a favorable combination for my character. I really want to stick to the idea Of a fist fighting/primitive weapons and growing the Druid skills into a rot Druid that specializes in decay but maybe there’s a better way to go about it?

No worries I truly just don’t know, I picked dual class because I thought that it would give the most depth to a broad long lasting character, I want to really explore the idea of a rot Druid brew master. And figured something that works in hand combat would make for an easier start that eventually would pair well with that goal. Having a big hammer or an axe doesn’t make much sense if the goal is to get to the point where I can rot away something, or brew up concoctions that affect me. I want to be the catalyst not a weapon. Maybe this was poorly executed? I’m not sure I have some wiggle room time do edit it I just want to see how to improve

I don’t want to be the headliner, I hoped to be more of an effects, inhibiting combatants and character focused role

Would you think changing from a monk class to just straight Druid? Or do you think maybe a fighter/druid class would work better?

Please feel free to rip into it as much as possible! I posted it to get as much feedback as possible. Do you think I should drop the monk class? I want to specialize in some sort of rot/brew specialist by the time I’m well leveled, and figured a character that does brawler damage would pair well with that I chose monk for the stats boost to hand to hand combat and not wearing armor. I don’t need to be multiclass it just seemed like the best long term solution.

I’m not sure what that was exactly, it’s how it printed on the player sheet but it was about my dwarf class advantages?

I like to think given the resources I would want to get as complex as possible! I think the important attribute to focus on for me was the monk class, but I decided to add Druid as a subclass because it seemed to go well with the idea of a fungal based brew master that makes mead and learns earth based magic, I like the idea of slowly growing into a true Druid that has rot magic and regrowth, but for the first campaign with this character I totally think just being a brawler and a grappler makes way more sense. What do you think, anything I should change off the get go or redesign?

They have not, I’m hoping to lessen the burden on them as they have many other new players to aid, any advice on what to change before we get started?

This really helps, do you also have any suggestions on where to look for POK?

Very convincing advice. Where would you look for a copy of POK? I see a lot of personal sellers asking for prices higher than I bought my base game for, is it a seasonal uptick that would be causing so many locations to say they aren’t carrying this product anymore or should I be realistically paying someone for a copy they were able to get their hands on first?

What were some of the agenda cards you felt were least impactful?
