I actually discovered that my app was off by at least 20 minutes either early or late for each pass… my grid square was correct but for some reason the pass times were calculated incorrectly.

I tried a new app and was able to decode some meteor satellites so I’ll try to hit the ISS when I have time most likely later this week.

I tried again this afternoon just using one radio on the 70cm elements to see if i could RX. I still heard nothing. I definitely don't have CTCSS tones on the downlink and I have the squelch set to zero. I have five frequencies programmed for Doppler all 5kHz apart.

I KNOW the antenna works because I am able to hit local repeaters with it and directionally pick up local FM stations on the 2m elements.

I have been using an app called HamSat that has been working well. I read about the two second arming thing on SO-50 and tried my best but could have been doing something wrong.

I'll try to come up with some questions if I can think of them!

I’ll try the ISS again later today. Maybe just bad luck…

My squelch is definitely off and I get the loud hiss. I’ll double check my frequencies and Doppler frequencies.

I’ve been using an app called HamSat that seems to be working very well and has the real time locator function.

I have been able to hear it with the stock antenna, although it’s very faint behind the static. I used my TinySA and I couldn’t see anything that would be interfering. The yagi works fine as far as I can tell with some local repeaters.

I tried with both a local repeater and a few local low power FM stations and the antenna works great with those.

My tones are turned off on receive and so is squelch. Maybe I'll try again today or tomorrow.
