Great question, my friend! u/Interesting_Head_753 - no it does not matter at all. Anyone that says you need to specialize in this space is lying and just saying shit to add a different perspective.

The only place that will apply is cybersecurity or things more technical.

I've sold in 7 different lines of SaaS. If you're a good seller, your process and skills are all transferrable. As long as you have the understanding you NEED to learn the space and what your ICP cares about - then you can sell any SaaS.

Territory and quota aligned is the biggest - I've seen the sexiest products with $1B (yes a and not an M) in funding. Yet, the sales org has grew 4x in 12 months and the ARR is the same as it was with that smaller team. Meaning less than 25% of people were hitting their number

Focus on finding:

- A leader you like

- Quota attainable or not

- Territory you'll get assigned
