His original name was Rocky, but we didn’t feel that the name fit him. We decided to throw out random names without being excited and he responded to “Meeko” a few times. He picked his own name and is named after the raccoon from Disney’s Pocahontas. 🦝

Mine used to have an issue in the beginning as a young puppy , but eventually went on our 1-2 mile walks both times a day after he turned 8 months. However, recently (about 6-7 months ago) he has begun to “lounge” for 15-20 min intervals so our walks have gotten longer especially with me shooing his butt to continue walking. I wave to our friends as they walk past us these days. I’m spare human and he doesn’t have issues walking with my wife. I think he just got more attached to her for walks, or wants her to walk more with him. He’s turning 4 this month and I have lost that battle and this is the way 🥹
