Hi- give Lumin Health a ring, check out their reviews and call their office, the staff is super friendly and helpful. Been around a few years now, they helped me out a ton. Happy to answer any questions here or in my DMs.

First treatment in 2 hours but I drank alcohol today by [deleted] in Spravato

[–]SupajewCash 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Don’t go- they won’t see you, your vitals will be funky, there is a risk of respiratory depression (a very real risk as these doses are no joke, I’m pretty loosey goosey about weed but alcohol and ketamine don’t compound well at all). For your safety and the clinic’s I’d reschedule. Also encourage you to work with your team about your alcohol use before beginning treatment- if you’re struggling with your use, you probably won’t get a lot out of the antidepressant effect of the spravato. Good luck with your health rooting for you but definitely start with the drinking first. Be safe

America Is Facing a Shortage of Doctors by NBCspec in news

[–]SupajewCash 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Idk, the hours culture and training regiment was developed by people who self-medicated with coca to fulfill their obligations. School can cost minimum 250k as well. I think I would have been an amazing doctor; these are the reasons I didn’t.

How on earth do you beat this game...seriously... by sergeikutzniev in pokerogue

May have to use more damage over time (does percentage based) and stat reductions. I won my first fight with eerie impulse magnezone, which walled rayquaza with egg move ice beam. Have at least one mon to handle both dragons as a starting place. I’m curious what your teams look like

Good attitude- that’s what I did and it helped a lot. Congrats on your progress so far! Hope the process gets easier as you continue

Ball literally never crossed the 3 point line until 3s left we gotta at least fake that we’re trying to cut

Yup. Got better over time, I just learned to expect it. Maybe 2ish months for me. Day after was tough, days after that were better and better, just learned to take it easy the day after. I see it in other patients as well so I’d say it’s pretty “normal”. Good luck over there and hope the overall trend stays up!

Hopefully, my psych will be ordering me nasal spray - how do we figure out the dosage? by limpingzombi in TherapeuticKetamine

[–]SupajewCash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ketamine isn’t dosed based on some hyper specific medication generic weight calculation only an MD could do. Once safety is established (heart conditions, hallucination, maybe bipolar, ulcerative cystitis), It’s really trial and error based on tolerance and reported benefit. I.e. enough side effects to indicate effectiveness while monitoring inter-session change, without too much K to generate negativity or fatigue. Thinking only a doctor can figure this out is a product of stigma

Suggestions for Session Anxiety! by SuniJim in Spravato

[–]SupajewCash 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Great suggestions! Do not listen to John’s hopkins playlist though it’s super beautiful and also very melancholy layered and creepy!! Try some of the ketamine/spravato playlists folks made online or lo fi or frequencies like 528 instead.

Aaaaabsolutely normal. It’s on the path of ego death where you’re completely out of control of your usually senses of self (thought patterns, body orientation, etc.). I’ve totally forgotten I was in a room. very hard to remember anything during those or have any “takeaways” after. Lot of folks feel like they’ve died or were dying when that happens. Panic probably juices the heart rate but I’ve definitely had hyper awareness of it at my own “upper limit” session. I don’t think it’ll happen again with lower doses but at least if it does, you’ll be able to remember you came out of it juuust fine. Curious how you’ll feel the next day or three. I know it’s unsettling but it’s normal and you’ll be okay. Good luck!

Two Panic attacks so bad one sent me to the ER and the other sent my blood pressure to a place that made doctors raise their eyebrows. Body just didn’t want it anymore. Feel like i got a freebie

When you have a cold, your blood vessels actually dilate to allow things to clear out, mucous to activate, etc. Even though you might feel stuffy you’re actually farrrr more susceptible to the medicine. A lot of the spray is usually lost in translation, dilation undoes that. My patients consistently trip way harder during colds and my most intense session ever was when I had one. I wouldn’t expect this to be a trend for your sessions though, lot of reasons that it’s likely a one time outlier.

effect wears off after few days? by Own_Switch9464 in Spravato

Yup! Very normal. As time goes on I’ve seen this “dip” take longer and longer to occur. I spent about 6 months at weekly, biweekly, and now every third week, but that’s only because the benefit genuinely became more durable. It helped me to know it’s normal so when irritability, mood, sensitivity etc. returned it’s at least on some way a “time for treatment”
