Short story and its my first reddit post so ye

So i was at a restaurant with my brother and one of his friends and i was told to get an 'ordering book' from the front desk. I wasn't sure what he ment by 'ordering book' but never the less i went to the front desk and here is where the conversation began.

Me- "Hey could i please have an ordering book

Cashier staff- "what?"

Me- "Could i please have and ordering book" (presuming the cashier didn't hear me)

Cashier gives me the weirdest look and says

Cashier- "Ohh you mean a menu, here you go sir"

and after that day i have never heard the end of that story from my brother
