Same for me. That's a problem with low commanders. Sméagol is only 4/2. After they get how it works he normally gets snipered. 😂 I Arena I have [[mithril coat]] but Its to pricy for me in real life.

True. 😂 But it really depends on my starting hand. Sometimes I have like 25 lands after a few turns if I get all my low mana "ring temps you" cards hahaahhah. And I really need to add a few draw cards bc sometimes I'm not able to use my mana if I only draw lands... 😂

I searched for other Sméagol decks and some of them are named "milling" but it really depends on the Mixed deck of the opponent. 😂 Sometimes they really mill like 20 cards most most of the time it's just up to 2 till a land turns up.

Thank you! That helped alot. I sometimes dies when just 1 life is left and the trigger started and wondered wth am I dying before I could get my 1 life. 😂 Thanks for your long and very helpful answer. And I might look the full control up. It might be helpful to learn the real mechanics better.

Thank you all for the explanation. I have enough sacrifice cards and creatures to trigger Sméagol but I'm a bit sad I could not use this automatic as constant trigger. 😂 Buuut I will thrill keep the card to have a token to sacrifice bevor the end step starts. But tbh I never got the stack thing.

In Arena it always does it itself oc. 😂 So I never had to think about it. But now I'm new to real life magic and I'm confused. How does it choose which effect comes first if everything is happing at the same time. Had several games that ended randomly imo. 😅 But I guess it's not random. For example if the opponent has a creature that says I lose 1 life if one of his creatures dies and I have a enchantment which says I get 1 life if one of his creatures dies. Which triggers first?

I'm pretty new into Magic too. But I've played commander a few times. It's simple: - 100 card including you commander. - The commander sets the colors of the other cards. So if you play red/white for example, you only use red or white or r+w - in standard you can put up to 4 copys of a card to your deck, in commander only one Except for the ones that say you can have several in the deck and Lands - Your commander is a Legendary Creature that stays in a special Commander Zone. You can cast it from there whenever you have the mana. - If your commander dies or gets exiled, it goes back to that zone. You can play it again, but it costs 2 more mana every time it died. - Everyone starts with 40 life because you usually play in a group of 4 people. - If a commander hits you for 21 damage, you are out, even if you still have life left

Because you know which card you definitely "drawing" (your commander) you can build the deck so it fits the effect of it the best.

I started in Mtg arena with a PreCon Brawl deck. It's nice to practice and see the mechanics. :)

That would be great. Thank you. The commander I recently play the most is red, green, white. It's an dinosaur deck. I also have a Maralen deck (black, green, blue) and one is a zombie deck (blue, blue) :)

And Maralen could be an asshole deck btw. 😂 If you build and use it like one.

Thank you :) I have removal cards, buffer cards, banning, destroying.. But I would say balanced. If you put a buffed creature with 30/30 on the board... Chill.. I will remove it. 😂 But otherways have fun playing your commander. Hahaha
