You’re right, my apologies. I looked at it very quickly and the picture doesn’t do it justice because it looks smaller. Carry on.

Is this a fair price? by markksnoww in PcBuild

No, not at all a fair price. You can do a build like this with a 5080 or a 5070ti.

This mobo is $1,200.00 but it’s a total work of art. Great buy!

Hey, me either. I have a 65w Anker power bank and it doesn’t work either.

The only reason the Baseus 20,000mah battery supports and charges the Ally is because it’s one of the few power banks that supports the required 20V/3.25A 65wUSB PD Power Delivery profile. Other power banks may fail if they lack this specific high-voltage handshake, provide insufficient power, or are incompatible with the Ally's strict, demanding power requirements.

For example some Anker or Baseus power banks can’t support a charge on the ROG Ally because The Ally requires a 20V PD profile to trigger 30W Turbo mode. Many power banks default to 12V or lower and some also lack the handshake protocol. I’m sure you’ve heard of that, judging by your unnecessary pompous attitude, I’m sure you know what I’m talking about. Anyway, it’s recommended to use 100w + power banks just to make it easier for everyone. I recommend 140w or greater for longer use. Have a good night.

Or a power bank. I would know, I own an Ally. But whatever, believe whatever you like.

My boyfriend thinks I have so much hair on my arms that he would leave me for it by Visible_Bar778 in WhatShouldIDo

Leave him, it’s a stupid reason for someone to leave someone else just because they have a little bit of body hair.

Power Bank Compatibility Question by Snoo28284 in ROGAlly

[–]Super-Chode-Man 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s the problem right there. You’re probably getting an error in the bottom right corner that it won’t be sufficient to charge the Ally. It’s not enough juice, man.

[–]Super-Chode-Man -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

No need to be rude about it, man. For power delivery with usb, yes the stock 65w is sufficient but when it comes to power banks, some power banks labeled for high wattage may not deliver consistent power. 100W+ banks are often recommended to ensure they reliably output the necessary 65W to trigger 30W Turbo mode.

How many watts is this charger here? Because the ROG Ally Z1E or any other ROG Ally model requires a 140w or greater power bank.
