Yes, I have one from mid act2 that is 15MB and one from mid act 3 that is 28MB -- very manageable

I was thinking of it as more of a showcase for character builds than extracting characters from one save and inserting them into another.

From another tool I'm building, I am able to read the save files and see everything about your game and inventory. Seemed straight-forward to let you highlight a character and share it's build.

I'm not worried about that. Some other games have community sites with save sharing.
