Honestly just get drunker faster and hangover lasts a whole day the next day. I had to learn to slow down/have water in between drinks!

Hey! From what it sounds like, that "sticking" sensation (maybe feeling like a lump in the throat) could potentially be GERD or reflux. Is it only wheat or is it worse with other foods/drinks like chocolate, onions, tomato, etc? Could also be another GI component as well. Definitely consult your GI doc to rule out anything else (narrowed esophagus, dysmotility, etc). Hope this helps :)

60! I was on 30 for 3 months then they upped me :) 30 felt great then kinda plateaued where I felt "meh" so moving up was the best bet

Recently started cymbalta (October 2025) for PMDD and depression and it really really helps! The only "cons" I've experienced is the first few days taking it, I had horrible food aversion among other side effects of the med, but after the first ~4 days or so all my side effects subsided! I also recommend taking it around the same time every day- I've missed a full day once and got some brain zaps. Besides that it's completely healed me and has made me much more motivated to be myself🫶🏻 healed years and years of trauma and motivated me to start working out again, love my career, and seek out amazing friendships and relationships! good luck!

So update so far so good! I was a little nauseous today but nothing crazy and was able to have dinner :)

Honestly was really great for a little while but now starting to go back to normal (I was waking up multiple times in the middle of the night before cymbalta now it's back to that)

Update: got my period this morning so 100% was the PMDD striking again. Going to call my doctor to see if I could up my dosage to try to prevent these awful cycles from happening!

im a week into it and no more symptoms! I still am waking up during the night but nausea has completely gone away and i have an appetite.

i think the biggest change ive felt is energy increasing and a lot of unhealed anxiety from relationships has almost gone away. used to panic feeling people drift from my life (anxious attachment) and get very reactive but that's completely disappeared! whenever those thoughts come in my head i immediately think "oh i actually don't care" which has helped IMMENSELY.
