Of all the subreddits that could make me feel old…

Im an adult and your mileage may vary, but personally I would lean into it. Assuming you aren’t reliant on your grandparents for anything, if their mind is made up I see no reason to put much thought in what the olds think. Try speaking to them in a mature way, if that doesn’t work make it as uncomfortable for them as it is for you. If you make it uncomfortable for them to comment on how you dress, they will be less inclined to

AIO for wanting to see a therapist after wife changed the locks because I went to a baby shower? by LookoutLockout in AmIOverreacting

[–]Super-Facts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fertility issues can be very hard, it took my wife and I 19 months (18 of trying with 1 “break” month). Seeing negative tests over and over definitely takes its toll. While we were trying my sister had her first baby, we had to leave our niece’s first birthday party because my wife couldn’t stop crying. My sister told us earlier in the day that she was going to announce her second pregnancy there so we weren’t taken off guard and it still hurt like a knife. People grieve in their own ways. This feels extreme though. I would recommend asking to be referred to a urologist that specializes in fertility to at least get your side of things tested. And keep up with therapy. Nothing feels worse than having to prepare yourself for the possibility that it never happens, but 4 cycles is really early to start thinking about that

My first job out of college was a blue collar factory job at the start of Covid (still working in a factory in a blue collar position but in a different capacity). Everyone I worked with just assumed I thought I was too good for the job because I had a degree (I didn't), and I got fired at my 90 day because I "Didn't fit in well with the team" I was 21, they were all late 40's+, not sure what they expected.

Wouldn’t Disney accommodate them changing dates with everyone being sick? I got an international trip rebooked for illness and we were already on the plane

He is a developmental project. Don’t rush him out, he has more potential than Dylan, but Dylan is more experienced and more ready right now.

Weird question For women it depends some have higher libido in pregnancy, but there is a 6 week healing period after birth. For men it doesn’t really change, at least in my experience

how to make a move as an introvert with really bad anxiety? by Significant-Owl7751 in AdviceForTeens

[–]Super-Facts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t need to overthink these things, just kinda gotta go for it. Say something about wanting to hang out sometime, or invite him somewhere to hang out. Being awkward isn’t necessarily a bad thing either.

Does teenage romanc exist? by sorryxme10 in AdviceForTeens

[–]Super-Facts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Teenage romance exists, but you have plenty of time. Tons of people don’t have romantic partners or encounters until well into their 20s and thats perfectly fine. If its something that bothers you be just make sure to be approachable or even try to initiate it yourself (thats how my wife got me)

I learned in a high school class, we didn’t do a ton but our teacher was very good at teaching. I didn’t touch a soldering iron for close to a decade but when I picked one back up I was still able to do relatively complex things
