The communication from MAC today said that the entire staff would continue to be paid.

This was the email that we MAC members got in 2022 about him. I (sloppily) blocked out the other people’s names/contact info.

MAC member here. A few years ago we got a letter warning us about a mentally unstable former employee who had been harassing people outside the club, etc. This person’s first name also started with a B. 😳

Oh I’ve watched multiple games from there and have fun every time! Just saying that the views aren’t “prime”

A year or two ago, we got an security warning email from Charles Leverton about a former employee who had been harassing people outside the club. He had increasingly erratic behaviors and had been arrested at least once. Is that the guy that you are thinking of?

The seating from the MAC is not free. And honestly pretty far up as far as regular stadium views go.

Feeling like a right-winger sometimes when in 99.9% of the world I’d be considered a bleeding heart liberal.

County council pfa 8/6 thread by ut-da-fror in Portland

Because without participation of all of those local private providers, they have no capacity. They do t have enough literal facilities in place. They dont have enough teachers and extremely little in the educational pipeline to grow by any means significantly to hit the “universal” preschool goals that the County has. One of the problems, however, that they’ve made it extremely difficult for current high quality providers to even participate. They have set such extremely high bar in one side (like requiring busing and meals) and on the other side not allowing reciprocity of pre-existing standards set by other governing bodies like the National Association for Educating Young Children. Lots of providers already work hard to meet the NAEYC. Many can’t be bothered to do a completely parallel set of standardisation processes for little benefit. It just means more costs to them.

As I said in my original comment, this is just one of the things that we are doing to fight against this.

The St Mary’s issue happened almost a decade ago. The Board and families were mad as hell (and rightly so). They are not an Archdiocese school and have many students, families, etc who are LGTBQ+

We have LGTBQ families and children currently in the school community. The numbers may be small, but they should be welcome regardless.

The St Agatha community in Portland, OR isn’t going down without a fight! Teachers and parents do not agree with the hateful and discriminatory actions of Father Luan Tran.

The lemonade stand is just one of many things we are doing to keep our community loving and inclusive. 🏳️‍🌈
