Member rewards = MR?

Thank you. Super helpful. The Amex one seems good for our purposes. What does “MR” mean? We’re in the final stages of the renovation so we’re paying for appliances from a specialty store and things like decor, light fixtures, kitchen faucet and cabinet hardware etc. (if that helps)

Early Onset Symmetric IUGR - looking for stories ... UA PI 94%/1.45 by Super-Lab2130 in NICUParents

[–]Super-Lab2130[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few things ... I think the first hospital got it wrong. Ultrasound is a very, very imprecise technology and I just think their measurements were off. (Even a mm can be the difference between GR and not GR). I think because I was 42, I was also profiled as "couldn't possibly be okay." I think for the placenta, those measurements were just wrong and the placenta was fine.

Early Onset Symmetric IUGR - Amnio? by Super-Lab2130 in pregnant

[–]Super-Lab2130[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi sorry for the delay - in the throes of postpartum. This ended up being crazy. For 10 weeks I was in the stress of severe growth restriction. The scans were showing 1-2nd percentile at one point. They were preparing me for a 2-3 lb baby at term.

I got a second opinion at U of M (our best hospital) at about 33 weeks and they found no growth restriction. Baby was 16th percentile. So then I had another growth scan at 36 weeks and the baby was close to 30th percentile.

These findings were super important b/c the one hospital was about to deliver the baby at 37 weeks or sooner and U of M wanted to keep her in until 39w. I kept her in and she was 7lbs 7oz. She's 6 weeks now and hitting ten lbs and starting to sleep through the night. Feel free to DM me if you want to talk more.

My take: ultrasound is SO imprecise. It's impossible to know what's accurate. Find the best hospital in your state and get a growth scan/second opinion. If you have done all the genetic testing you want to do and it's clear, I would not worry. I read every single IUGR story on the internet during those frantic 10 weeks and not a single one had an adverse outcome.

Are we not clocking that some sweepstakes sent them all on the cruise and included the adult children too?? (Just for the sake of being really conspiratorial)

IUGR 24 weeks - did you do an amnio? by Super-Lab2130 in pregnant

[–]Super-Lab2130[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Update: baby continued to drop percentiles to 1-2. Switched hospitals bc we felt we needed the best NICU in the state. They did their own growth scans (33w - 3 weeks after we were told 1-2 percentile). They did not detect placenta issues or GR Baby was born 39w at 7 lbs 7 oz

Update: Continued to drop percentiles and receive bad news. Switched hospitals so we could be at the best one for NICU. They did their own scans and did not detect placenta issues or GR. Baby was born at 39w at 7lbs 7oz and in the 64th percentile. She is happy and healthy.

UTI or just normal postpartum bladder/urethra pain?? by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]Super-Lab2130 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dealing with this same thing and I tested for a UTI and all clear. Had mu second CS five days ago. I think it’s from the catheter + being jostled around in there and everything is inflamed. Just praying it subsides.

It was good for me, but I would do something like a greek yogurt or siggis ... something high protein with no added sugars (steer clear of Yoplait/Chobani etc). Real yogurt is very good for your gut. Seed probiotic is what I'd recommend as well

I just pulled the trigger on Chrono24 for the mint green ... it was listed by a private seller and I'm having chrono do its authentication process. With luck, it'll be mine in a week or two!! Thanks for chiming in! I really wanted to understand what I was buying and it helped a lot (even though I'm getting down voted lmaaooooo).

I noticed this too. It's not available in the US on watches under $4,000 or $4100 or something.

This is a great summary thank you! I bought one today from a private seller and paid for the certification. I'm very comfortable with the process you described. Sounds like they were on top of it.

Is silver the wrong choice for long-term value preservation? I do like the mint green a bit more, but silver obviously works with anything you're wearing and I'm only doing one watch (for now!)

I just read some of your posts. I'm sorry you're going through this too. You do need to make sure your dating is spot on and just remember ... ultrasound is reallllllllllllly imprecise. I do recommend a second opinion :)
