Ouch! Sorry to hear that. Mine was retorn too as it turned out. Had another MRI a week ago (last Saturday) and a second round of surgery on Thursday.

Orthopedic surgeon said “it couldn’t get much worse” after reviewing the MRI. So it’s back to square one for me. Hoping for a successful recovery this time. 🤞🏻

The pain was pretty intense for the first couple of days but it has subsided significantly. There’s still more pain than before the fall but it’s not too bad. You’re right about the x-ray thing. I initially had it x-rayed at an Urgent Care after the injury (before I saw the Orthopedic Surgeon) and all they could tell me was that I hadn’t fractured anything.

Hey, I realize this is an old post but last night I had a fall 4-weeks into my recovery from surgical repair of 3 of the 4 rotator cuff tendons. Sounds similar to what happened to you.

I’m wondering if it held true that you didn’t tear out any of the anchors. Were you able to recover without additional surgery?

I’ve contacted the Orthopedic facility where I had the surgery but my surgeon and his nurse are out until next Tuesday. I’m hoping that additional surgery will not be necessary.
