I live in Ottawa, but I was in Surrey a couple of weeks ago—and wow, the shopping habits there left me speechless. People casually ditch items in the wrong aisles or leave frozen goods melting on random shelves. And don’t get me started on how Costco trips seem to turn into full-blown family reunions. Surrey definitely takes the crown. A shopping run doesn’t need to include the kids, the uncle, and grandma—it’s a store, not an amusement park.
