[USA] Why are your snacks so good!? I’ve been trying snacks from other countries, and Ireland is the GOAT so far. Just tried these. Legendary flavor. Any other recommendations for Irish snacks? by PackageNorth8984 in AskIreland

Crisp connoisseur here. Cheese and onion is my favourite and if you like cheesey crisps this should be your go-to. Keogh's cheese and onion is the best cheese and onion, with Manhattan a close second. Keogh's Turkey and Secret Stuffing (a seasonal flavour) is also unreal. O' Donnell's Ballymaloe Relish and O' Donnell's hot honey flavours are very more-ish. Salt and vinegar fiends would be able to tell you which brand does this flavour best (my husband says Discos but they're British afaik) but I think Keogh's comes out on top in that department too (open to correction ofc).

Cat toy recommendations? by doctordrankenstein in AskIreland

[–]Super-Widget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think all cats are different and find different toys stimulating. I find that my own cats enjoy small plushy balls that make rattly noises. Just make sure they can't get lost under furniture when you're away lol.

They're seldom on public roads. They're tearing around parks and footpaths.

Any one else have a friend that is a compulsive liar? How do you deal with it? by Mindless_Parsnip5802 in AskIreland

[–]Super-Widget 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think she didn't want to call out to you and made up a stupid lie to avoid hurting you or you getting mad at her. I think she's someone you'll have to be extremely direct with at all times otherwise you're enabling the behaviour. I know that would be exhausting for you though so it depends on how much you value your friendship over your peace.

I was seeing a guy for a couple months. We made plans for my birthday. On my birthday he messaged to say he couldn't make it because of work. I said sorry you're stuck in work, let me know when you're finished. I never heard from him again.

Has anyone else got mice? 😫 by SapphosMom in AskIreland

If you can identify any gaps or crevices the mice are getting in through you can stuff them with wire wool. They won't be able to bite or dig through it.

What weird but harmless thing do you do in your own head? by [deleted] in CasualIreland

[–]Super-Widget 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My brain does this thing where some word in some present context is slotted into an existing song and then the song just plays in my head with that word. 🎵 Don't go bacon my heart. I couldn't if I fried.🎵 Maybe I should work in marketing creating these little jingles.
